Andy's P.O.V.
I thought my dad was taking me to his house. I couldn't be more wrong. We drove straight past his house and on down the street. We drove for what seemed like hours. How would Ash ever be able to find me now?
We drove out to some rural place in the woods. We were at an old abandoned house that looked like it could fall apart at any minute.
"Try anything funny and I will kill your boyfriend right in front of you."
Wait, he knows?
"How do you know I have a boyfriend?" I asked.
"Don't worry. That's my business, not yours. Lets just say that someone is always watching you."
That made me a little worried. My dad has been stalking me.
"Out. Now."
I got out of the car and stood there waiting for new commands. Man I hate this bitch.
Instead of commands, I was kicked in the ass and told to move, but before I could move I was pulled up the driveway to the house.
Once inside the house, I didn't get to see much. I wet rag was put over my mouth and nose, and everything faded to black.
I woke up to be in a dark room, with little light. It had a musty smell. I had been laying on the ground, so I stood up to try to find a way out.
I was obviously in a basement, so there were no windows.
Next, I tried the door. It was locked from the outside.
I went over to the fireplace. Maybe I could be reverse Santa and climb up the chimney instead of down.
No luck there either. The chimney had been blocked off at the top. How? I have no idea.
Bastard really thought of everything.
I looked back at the door. All of the sudden, a blinding light emitted from the now open door.
In came my dad. He carried a bag over his shoulder.
I backed up against the wall, as there was no place for me to hide.
He pulled out a knife from the bag and looked me up and down. He shook his head.
Now, he pulled out a bigger knife and looked me up and down one more time. He smiled and came towards me. He had a rope laying around his neck.
If I could just...
I was pushed down to the floor, and father dropped the knife to the side. He reached out to grab it.
He got closer to it, but now wasn't the time. I had one chance, and if I screwed up, my life would be in even more of a risk than it already was.
Not yet, not yet.
When he was close enough to getting the knife, but not having it yet, I reached for the rope laying over his shoulders. In one quick move, I turned it around so it was around his neck. I pulled with all of my strength, and I thought I had it.
He reached out towards me and started to choke me with his hands, but we passed out at the same time.
I awoke with a jarring pain in the side of my leg.
"FUCK!" I yelled.
He had woken up before me and used that time to stab my leg with the knife that he had dropped earlier.
I tried pulling it out, but the rope that I had tried to reach for bound tight around my wrists behind my back.
Ash, I need you, and now.
Ash's P.O.V.
School had let out a while ago, and I was racing down to Andy's old house, hoping that for some reason, if I went in his room, he would be lying there, perfectly safe.
I knew that wouldn't happen though. It may happen in movies, but life isn't a movie, and doesn't always have happy endings.
I was now at the house and I rushed to the front door, and listened. Maybe if Andy's father was beating him, I could sneak up from behind. Maybe he was passed out on the floor.
When I heard nothing, I barged in, surprised that the door wasn't locked. In a situation where you beat your son, I would think you would be a little smarter as to locking the door.
I ran up the stairs to Andy's old room. No sleeping Andy.
I went to my house to check to see if somehow Andy had escaped and gone to my house to hide. That could happen. Andy lived in hell having to sneak out for anything for five years.
Living room, no Andy. Kitchen, no Andy. Bedrooms, no Andy. Laundry room, no Andy. Not that I expected him to hide in there, but it was a good idea to check.
I drove around town, exceeding the speed limit, and looked everywhere for my baby. No matter where I looked, I couldn't find him.
I tried calling Andy's phone. What if he went for a walk? It could happen. But, I'm desperate, and if your desperate you'll do almost anything.
The one place left in our small town was the country. There was only one main road to it, and that was the way people entered and left the town. Well, if they went though this side of town.
I continued to drive. One newer house. I knew the happy newly weds that lived there. Andy wouldn't be there.
Next house, a log cabin. It was a place that people could rent for a while. I don't think Andy would be there.
House after house I went until I got to the last house on the road. It was an old house that looked like it was made hundreds of years ago. Ok, maybe not that long ago. Point is, it was old.
This had to be the house. I drove up the driveway.
I parked the car and got out quickly, but quietly. If Andy really is here than I need to make sure that his dad doesn't hear me and try to kill me. I have to save Andy. Dying today is not an option.
I ran up to the door. Here goes nothing.
