So...back to this story!!! I feel my creative-ness(?) flowing so I want to get it out now! I'm sorry if this is relatively short, only because I have something to do later so I can't write later.
Listening to Pick up the Phone by Falling in Reverse!! :) (p.s just so you know I need to listen to music to write. So I feel like I should tell you what I'm listening too :))
I woke up in a strange place, well okay not that strange but at first I didn't recongnize it. I was in the park where Isaac left me bleeding and broken and oddly enough, despite the blood that had originally been flowing thick and bright from my face had not only dried into black but my wounds had been healed all together. It was dark out, a full moon shining bright and white. It's light turned everything a light silver, its glow a warm touch to the blackened world.
But more than that, as I surveyed the world around me, I began to remember. Everything. Who I was and who I was meant to be. I was a Angel of the Moon, and my mission was not yet complete. I saw my black wings stemming from my back, ripping strips in my T-shirt that I wore. No matter I thought, But I must find Violeah, she can help me. Evils rising is coming. It's my duty to stop it. I flew, taking off with harsh violence. I could hear the sharp thunder of my wings cutting wind, giving me leverage into the cold night air. I closed my eyes and tried to focus on Violeah.
Violeah, can you hear me? My thoughts echoed in empty space. It was well past moonrise, so she would've shifted into her angel form by now.
Evaline? You shifted? Where are you? We must meet. She was confused and I couldn't imagine why.
Indeed. Where are you?
I'm...outside of a nightclub...I think? I don't know, the sign on the front of the building says Angelica's Stars. And there's people here that I do believe look like they're clubbing. Do you know where that is?
Yeah, don't worry I'm on my way. By the way, do you know what time it is?
Midnight, a little past, don't worry, we got time. A relief. My curse and every moonrisen angel's curse. We had to forget our identity as children of the moon once sun rose. Apparently we were too powerful to be allowed to have full power. But night was not enough. Evil didn't forget.
I finally got to Violeah's location. Violeah was my sister, literally. We had been born to the same humans or rather, fallen angels posing as humans, but we were graced as angels. I remembered everything about my birth, and I remembered the people who brought me into this world. Only fallen angels could conceive a moonrisen angel. I never knew my real parents. They'd been taken away before I knew them.
Violeah approached me,her bright blonde hair falling into her face, she looked up at me with her ice blue eyes.
"They never give us enough time to finish our work here do they?" She grumbled. She was dressed in a slim black dress, with lace cut at the bodice and bottom.
"Yeah, I know. What have we got? Any leads?"
"I got something. It's terrible though. I heard demons have found there way to Earth."
"From hell? But the gates are shut! Nobody exits that place! Nobody! Not even the ones who run it!"
"The only person who could've even had the power had to have been-"
"-An angel." I whispered, finishing her sentence. I swallowed hard. She nodded.
"There's been a betrayal among the ranks. One that not even banishment to Earth would suffice, but them being destroyed immediately."
"They got away. Became an Angel of Death. Damn! What's our mission then?" I hissed. But fear would win here, and this was major.
"Find the betrayer. Bring them back for punishment, if we can, but they service demons now, so that screws a lot of protocols up! Where's the other angels like us?" I knew plenty, and were friends with a lot of them, they should've been helping deal with this. Chal, Teo, Deliah...where were they?
"They've been taken Evaline, and swiped right off the radar. Hundreds around the globe have been taken like this. Our army of Earth angels has been swiped to small amount. I think...they've been captured by Hell's demons, and their power used by the wrong people. Imagine, an entire populace of Moonrisen Angels corrupted by this! We have to be careful now.
"So no help from Above then eh? Figures. So we have to shut the gates of Hell and save our Moonrisen Angels from captivity." Violeah nodded.
"How comes I wasn't aware of this? I would've thought..." I trailed off. I hadn't been shifting for nights now, and this was odd. Every moonrisen angel shifted at moonrise, it was what we did.
"I don't know why Eva, but you haven't and I think Angels above are doing it. Why? I don't know, but I've been following our case since then." Violeah replied, scared. She was afraid I'd never come back, and I wouldn't let that happen.
"Don't worry about me. Now lets get to work." I said. And we flew off.
Night goes quickly when you can't afford it too. We'd spoken with few if any Moonrisen Angels not taken by demons, which was our hypothesis at the moment. We needed to catch a demon, but to find one was impossible. For now we needed to get info.
Violeah flew up to me and together we watch the inky sky turning bright pink. She sighed.
"I got to go back to where I woke up, before my wings dissapate. I know that when I'm not shifting I'm a rich, spoiled thing. I'm disgusted, but the life my adopted parents give me is quite nice, luxurious even. Apparently I'm known as Mikaela DeMont. I wish I knew your other self Evaline, then it be easier to coordinate." She said smiling in a sad way at the thought of forgetting herself again.
I smiled too. Then sighed.
"If only I had your life. I'm the outcast here, I'm beaten half the time by other people. Don't get me wrong, I love my adopted family to bits, but they have an expectation of what I need to be. I'm not that though. My name is Juliet Fontaine there. I just...wish I could keep this memory, my angel memory."
Violeah smiled to me.
"But that's what gives you strength, and makes you who you are. I need to go, but hopeful tommorow night we shall meet." I nodded. We parted.
By the time I made it to the park I saw flashing lights around the perimeter. Police, ambulance, they were looking for me. Well, Juliet, and I'd make sure they'd find me. I landed by a small underbrush they were close too. They'd find me in time, and like that a sharp pain over came me as the sun rose into the sky. My vision grew hazy, and I screamed out as my wings shrunk ripping their way back into my back. I was shifting. My memory grew hazy and I could barely remember my name.
Not again! I cried in my thoughts. Evaline! My name is Evaline, and I'm an angel!
The last thing I remember is hearing someone call "She's here, the missing girl!" Before I blacked out.
I was waking up into dawn. But as Juliet Fontaine. And I needed to remember so much!
SOooo...thoughts? It felt awesome to write this, and I hope you liked it! But what happens to Juliet now? Is there enough time to complete her mission? :) :)
