Normal days in the household, always hearing faint noises of the royals, guards, especially servants walking down hallways. Not for today. Shuichi finds it quite strange. He slowly walks around the palace, looking for Prince Ouma's room to serve him his morning tea and help him get ready for the day. Ouma was indeed, quite sick at the moment.

After a few minutes of satisfying walking noises coming from his shoes, a loud echo of arguing fills the room. Shuichi begins to brisk walk, rushing towards the noise. The curse words coming from Prince Ouma's room gets louder and louder the more he walked towards the bedroom.

He arrives at the door, seeing it slightly open. He leans forward, peeking through the space.

His eyes widen, staring at what's happening on the other side. He hesitantly raises his hand, forming it into a fist, staring at the door. He gulps, knocking on the door slowly. After he made the noise, the argument has stopped, making him a bit less terrified. The door slowly opens. Only thing you could see was the purple haired prince's face by the door. "Who is it?" A deep masculine voice stated behind Kokichi.

The princes father walks to the door, fully opening it and grabbing Ouma's shoulder, forcing him to back up a little bit.

Ouma's father stands there, smiling. He waves to their most faithful and obedient servant. Shuichi bows down, awkwardly grinning. "May I get Prince Ouma ready?" The servant stated, trying to get the father away from Ouma. "Yeah.. whatever." The King moved the prince aside, walking out of the room.

Shuichi walks in with a tea set, closing the door shut and locking it.

"I have brought you your favorite, Prince Ouma!" Saihara grins, grabbing the tea cup and handing it to Kokichi after he sat down on his bed. "Hey Shumai.." The purple haired boy stated, sipping his tea right after. Saihara's grin fades, noticing a hint of sadness from the prince.

"Yes, your highness? Is something wrong with your tea?" The dark blue haired servant responded. "No, I just have a question." Kokichi sighed. "Go ahead, your highness."

"Am I annoying?"

....

Shuichi's eyes avert as he nervously laughs. "Of course not, your highness! You're amazing and handsome. I'm sure you would do the best in li-" Prince Ouma cuts him off "Shut up."

"How am I suppose to know that everything everyone says to me is true? They are most likely just saying it because I'm a higher rank. They possibly shit talk me behind my back. Absurd! How am I suppose to know who I can trust and who I can't? Even my father confirmed it! So, be honest with me Saihara! Am I really the best in this whole planet? Am I really capable of taking over a whole kingdom? Tell me! TELL ME!" He ranted.

The servant heavily sighs, putting his hands together. Sitting down on the chair next to him. "No, you aren't the best person in the world. Nobody else is either. And that's okay. Many people idolize you, others don't. That's their opinion. You can be capable of taking over a whole kingdom, I'll be there to support you." Saihara smiled.

"I am this close to firing you," Kokichi's eyebrows furrowed. The servant giggles as the prince begins to drink his tea. "It's bad but I'll drink it anyway since you made it,"

"Flattering, but you don't have to, your highness," Saihara stands up and puts his hand out, signaling that he is willingly going to take away the tea. "No, I insist. I'll drink it anyway and you can't do anything about it,"

Saihara and Ouma stay in the bedroom, laughing to themselves, having a peaceful conversation.

A loud banging on the door suddenly appears. "Who is it?!" The dark blue haired boy yelled. Kokichi runs to a room next to his, immediately trying to get ready. "The king, dimwit, let me in!" The doorknob begins to shake aggressively.
