"Father"

Yibo shivered after seeing the caller ID. His eyes went wide.

His parents have never contacted him since he came to live with Zhan. Why is he calling now?

Are they coming back?

Yibo's heart dropped at the thought.

Zhan, when saw the scared expression of Yibo, peeked at the phone screen. He let out a sigh when he saw the caller ID.

"Pick it up baby." He whispered gently while stroking Yibo's back.

Yibo nodded with a nervous gulp before picking up the call.

"Hel-"

"How much more time were you gonna take to pick up the call!?" His father roared from the other end.

"S-Sorry father.." Yibo apologized in a cracked voice. He heard his father muttering some curses.

"Anyways, I called to tell you that Mr. Xiao was so happy with my work that he has permanently transferred me to U.S.A. He also issued a scholarship for you to study in Xiao University. You can go back to the house and live their. We ain't coming back any soon. Don't forget to thank Mr. Xiao on my behalf as he is not picking up my call. I think he is busy these days." His father ordered before hanging up the call on his face.

Yibo sat frozen for a while. He didn't know what to make out of the thing.

Zhan was very nervous when he got no reaction from the younger. He immediately got up from his chair and kneeled infront of Yibo.

"Baby, I'm really sorry I took decision without asking you. I needed some time to find a permanent solution to free you from your parents. That is why I did this. I am sorry I didn't ask your opinion. Please don't be mad." Zhan kept apologizing.

Yibo was still drinking in the information. He stood from his chair, Zhan too standing up from his knees.

Yibo stared at the elder for a while before his eyes starting to get teary.

Zhan panicked when he saw Yibo crying. He immediately cupped the younger's small face.

"Baby! Shit! D-Don't cry. Please don't cry. Gege is sorry. Gege is really sorry. P-Please don't cry.. You can scold gege as much as you want." Zhan whimpered.

Hearing the elder's word's Yibo shook his head vigorously and jumped over Zhan, engulfing him in a bone crushing hug.

Zhan was startled by the sudden hug, but hugged the younger with the same fervour the next moment.

"Thank you gege *sob*. Thank you so  *sob* much. I-I  *sob*don't know how will  *sob* I ever be able to  *sob* return your favors. I love you gege.  *sob* I love you so much. *sob*." Yibo babbled, his happy tears flowing continuously.

Zhan smiled fondly and stroked the younger's back lovingly.

"Shh.. Just love me. That is all I can wish from you my love." Zhan purred, earning another loud wail from the younger.

"Gege wh~y a-are  *sob* you so go *sob*od? You make  *sob* me want t-to keep you *sob* all for myself. *sob*." Yibo whined, earning a cute giggle from the elder.

"That is what I am baby... All yours." Zhan cooed before hooking his hands on the back of the younger's upper thigh and picking him up like a koala.

Yibo voluntarily locked his legs on Zhan's waist and gripped his neck tighter.

Zhan sat back on the chair with his whole world in his arms.

He kept on patting Yibo's back, who was still sobbing with his face nestled in the elder's chest.
