OMNISCIENT

During the entire lunch break, Wonyoung could not be able to forget the question. It has been stuck in her head for so long to the point she had to ask someone.

Tapping onto her best friend's shoulder, she leaned towards her and whispered, "Hey, Yujin, do you know why Sunghoon's nicknamed baekku?"

Instead of getting an actual answer, her best friend only shrugged and replied, "Sorry bro, I am not sure either. I just hear the boys call him that multiple times."

Pouting at Yujin's response, Wonyoung played with her food a bit until she heard Yujin speak again.

"Say, why do you want to know?"

Wonyoung's hands instantly froze at its place as a sense of awkwardness filled her soul. She did not really want to tell anyone her assumptions of Sunghoon being the one carrying her in the game she is playing. Since she feels the baekku she knows online, has a completely different personality with the Sunghoon she knows in real life!

Believe it or not, baekku is sometimes really odd in her opinion as he occasionally says some absurd things out of nowhere like when he is attacking someone who would go, "Oh, you think you're good?? You think you can beat me?? Think twice lOSER cause I just beat yo assss up you be begging for forgiveness next time we encounter each other"

Just the thought of baekku's trying to intimidate someone who can not hear him makes Wonyoung chuckle unconsciously. Right at that moment, the entire dining hall is also abruptly silent. The only sound you could hear is a girl's light laugh.

Feeling all the stares on her face, Wonyoung could feel the heat rushing up to her cheeks as she awkwardly gazed down and took a scoop of her food.

"What are you all looking at???" A voice suddenly yelled, causing Wonyoung and the rest of the people to flinch but it effectively broke the silence. Everyone instantly faced away and went back to what they were doing earlier.

Looking up slowly, the view of a person standing with his strong hands pressed firm on the table came to sight. Wonyoung suddenly got captivated by the veins popping out that she unconsciously leaned forward to examine the guy's hands.

(A/N: OKAY. FIRST OF ALL I MUST SAY I DO NOT HAVE AN OBSESSION WITH VEINY HANDS. just a tad bit influenced by mis amigos IG)

A deep chuckle was let out as the guy in front slowly pull his hands away whilst saying, "Are my hands that pretty you have to inspect them?"

Instantly realising what she was doing, Wonyoung sat back straight and lifted her head to see a familiar face enter her sight. Her mouth opens wide as she watches the guy's lips curved into a small smile the moment they made eye contact as he placed his two palms back onto the table and leaned closer till they reached the same eye level.

"Long time no see. Jang Wonyoung."

Laying on his back, Sunghoon placed his hands behind his head as his eyes fluttered shut while listening to lively music. Lightly bopping his head, he opened his eyes slightly and a silhouette came to sight in his peripheral vision.
