After hearing Sunghoon's sudden question, Wonyoung's eyebrows knitted as her eyes began to continuously blink whilst gazing around. WTH???/,$$: Such a random question!!

Calming her thoughts, she looked up to meet his same tedious eyes again and proceeded to cross her arms across her chest. "Why do you want to know?"

"Why not." Sunghoon replied while shrugging as if it was not a big deal; when in reality, their interaction at lunch has been bothering him for the past two hours or so.

"Are my hands that pretty you have to inspect them?"

Sunghoon heard Kai's voice say to someone and shook his head lightly while chuckling at his friend's narcissistic comment before continuing to eat his meal.

"Long time no see. Jang Wonyoung."

Upon hearing her name Sunghoon's eyes instantly shot up. Squinting his eyes at the sight of Kai leaning towards the said girl and mentally asked himself. How do they know each other?

"Long time no see, Kai." Wonyoung greeted awkwardly while the said boy comfortably took a step back and squeezed in between Jay and Sunghoon.

"Dude?!!" Jay exclaimed as Kai lowkey just shoved him to the side.

Giving him an apologetic yet a tad bit playful smile Kai clasped his hands together while saying, "Hehe, sorry brooo~" Then he immediately twisted his body back to face the front—where Wonyoung is sitting— and said while laughing, "I heard of the news of you coming back this year but I did not know it was be real!"

Coming BACK?? What does he mean by that? Was she here before or something?? But if she were I would probably notice such an aggressive girl.. Right? Sunghoon thought to himself as he continued to listen to their conversation.

"Not going to lie, I thought you have already forgotten me!" Kai added and even pouted.

Hearing that, Wonyoung let out a small smile and shook her head whilst replying, "I don't think I could ever forget you after what you did."

Sunghoon's brows furrowed as multiple scenarios flushed into his mind. Ex lovers? Old friends? Or maybe childhood friends? What could he have done to make him so unforgettable..??

"HEY!"

Sunghoon flinched as a loud shout echoed bringing him back from his flashback. He turned to where the voice came from to see a girl leaning close to his ear with both hands on the sides of her lips.

"You were spacing out so I had to!!" Wonyoung smiled cheekily as she explained why she just screamed into his ear while leaning backwards.

Sunghoon gave her a blank stare before asking her about her relationship with Kai once again.

Rolling her eyes at how persistent he is, Wonyoung finally said, "Fine, fine! Since you want to know that baaaddd, we are just normal classmates. Nothing more nothing less."

"How do you guys know each other though? Didn't you only come this year?"

"Yes, I did join this school again this year but I was also here since primary school! I only left three years ago and I do not recall you being in this school that time soo.." Wonyoung continued to explain whilst shrugging her shoulders. With that face, I would probably know your existence if you were here three years ago.. She thought to herself.
