After a sluggish week at work, it was finally the day of the concert. I wasn't much for the camping experience so Anna and I had planned to arrive at the venue early morning to secure a general admission wrist band. I have had good spots to stand even when arriving later in the day so I was trying my luck. The venue's website stated that we were able to return around 5 pm for doors to open at 6:30 pm. The concert didn't start until 8 pm, which meant there was a lot of standing in my future.

Anna had stayed over the night before and we were planning on venturing out for some breakfast before hitting up the venue Harry was performing at. We both were morning people so it made it easy to briskly get out the door. We began to walk to her car which was in the garage.

My stomach was in knots, likely from the excitement I was feeling, but I wasn't exactly sure. Something told me today was going to be a good day. Maybe the knots were trying to tell me something. I was cautiously optimistic, so I opened my horoscope for the day. I was a Sagittarius so I was naturally curious. I glanced down at the love section: "Will be sensitive. There will be an increase in happiness. Loved ones will be happy. There will be opportunities to meet loved ones. You will get good offers. Desired work will be done." I narrowed my eyes at my phone and questioned what it could mean for me.

"Is McDonald's okay for breakfast? It's about a 20 minute walk from the venue. We can do that, right?" Anna asked, pulling out of the apartment garage. I looked at my phone and saw it was 7:30 am.

"Absolutely McDonald's is okay for breakfast. We will have to get to the venue around 9 am to get a wristband, though. So eat up, buttercup." I said, pulling my sunglasses out of my purse.

Anna did a giggle and looked over at me. She passed me a loving gaze. "You know how beautiful you are, right? Harry would be so lucky to have you."

My face immediately heated up and I shoved her lightly in her seat. "Don't even start. He wouldn't even pass a second glance at me." She glared at me and shoved me lightly back. "We will see tonight then, won't we?"

After about a 20 minute drive, we arrived at McDonald's. There was a light breeze outside, causing me to shiver slightly. It was about 50 degrees, reminding me that I should have brought a light jacket. Anna had the right idea as she wore a brown, cropped, sherpa jacket. She must have noticed my shivering because she put an arm around me as we walked into the building.

I had ordered hot cakes with oatmeal. I know, not your typical meal at McDonald's. Anna ordered an egg McMuffin and immediately began to devour it. I scrolled my phone, looking at harryflorals on Instagram. No updates were to be found on where Harry was. Obviously, he was in Portland for tonight's show but no one had seen him out and about. I sighed, locking my phone back up. Anna looked up with concern. "What's wrong?"

"No word on where Harry is. Looks like we will have to wait until the show tonight to see him." I said, taking a bite from my cold oatmeal. She plastered an evil look as she took my hand into hers. "Let's scout out Portland for the day and see if we can spot him anywhere."

I shook my head and removed my hand. "Portland is huge. We likely won't see him. Let's just wait until the concert tonight so we can guarantee a nice spot." As much as I wanted to explore Portland and maybe run into Harry, I didn't want to get my hopes up too much. Anna raised an eye brow. "Are you sure about that ma'am?" I nodded and took another bite of my oatmeal. "Let's take our chances." Anna shrugged her shoulders and continued to eat her McMuffin.

The time was now 8:30 am. It gave us a perfect amount of time to walk over to the venue and get in line to receive our wrist bands. Thankfully I wasn't in my outfit I was wearing tonight otherwise my feet would be killing me. Anna and I were both dressed quite casually.

We trotted our way over to the venue and started to notice small tents perched up outside. We also noticed some people lying on blankets and others congregating together. Anna gave me a side eye glance and whispered, "I'm glad we didn't camp. I can't imagine how cold it must get at night." I nodded in agreement.

We approached a man in a yellow vest, hoping he would know where to direct us to. "Hi there, where is the line for the general admission wrist bands?" I asked. He sighed loudly and pointed behind him. "It is back there." I looked over his shoulder and sure enough, there was a small line that had formed near the entrance of the venue. I looked at Anna with a large smile and intertwined our arms together. We scurried our way over to the line and found the back of the line with ease.  I raised my wrist to check my Apple Watch. 8:57 am. Perfect timing since they began numbering us at 9 am. I let out a sigh of relief and placed my head on Anna's shoulder.

There was actually quite the group in front of us. I feared that we arrived too late to get a decent spot. I've never been barricade before, but that was my goal this time. Anna had agreed we would push elbows if needed. I was only 5 feet tall so Anna understood that my short legs wouldn't get me the best views.

There was a woman with a boa around her neck making her way down the line, handing out the wrist bands and writing a number on them. My heart soared imagining tonight. It was all becoming so real. You'd think after seeing Harry so many times it would not be as exciting, but that just wasn't the case. My body flutters with innumerable amount of feelings when I think of him. I had been enamored with this man since 2012. I just wish he knew how much of an impact he made on my life.

I was cut from my thoughts when the woman with the boa approached me. I quickly placed my right wrist into her hand as she put the wrist band around me. She wrote the number 215 on it. My heart sank a little, noticing that there were so many people ahead of us. "Come back at 5 pm for the doors to open." The woman said quickly, whisking off to the next set of people. I looked at Anna and gave a small smile. She gave one back and put a hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry, we will get barricade. I will make sure of it."
