Anna and I were sitting in the airport at 5:30 am. Our flight was at 6 am, which meant today was going to be a long day. Starting it by flying and ending it with a Harry Styles concert. While we were waiting, I was roaming my phone to see if there were any sightings of Harry. Nothing was posted. Again. It would just bring me comfort to know he is safe somewhere.

I thought back to our encounter a couple days ago. The image of Harry was burned into my brain. His tall, slender figure, fluffy brown hair and strong hands were what stood out to me the most. I wanted to run my hands through his hair and have his large hands hold my petite body next to his. Just having him hold me with his tight grip was all I wanted.

My thoughts were broken when Anna tapped me on the shoulder. "You were daydreaming about Harry, weren't you?" She said with a sly smile. I locked my phone and stared at her with a blank face. "Maybe. Maybe not." I wasn't shy about letting Anna know my feelings for Harry, but having more intimate thoughts about him was something I liked to keep to myself.

Before we knew it, it was time to board the plane. I always liked to have the window seat. I pushed past Anna and scurried into the seat closest to the window. She slumped in the seat next to me and gave me a glare. I gave her a cheesy smile. "Oh you know you love me." She pinched my cheek and smiled back. "You're lucky you're cute, Char."

The plane eventually took off and I began to get sleepy. You'd think being on an airplane would keep me alert but I think the thought of how exhausting the day would be caused me to be tired. I closed my eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep to the lyrics of "Sweet Creature" whispering in my ears.

I was awoken by Anna poking my face. I gave her a side eyed smile. "We're about to land. Glad you were able to catch some z's. I, on the other hand, am caffeinated by the coffee supplied by the airline and the Starbucks we grabbed this morning. I am so ready for this day!" Anna's excitement was quite contagious as I began to wake up.

"And I bet you're just ready to see your man again." She teased. "Well, he's not my man but you're not wrong about me wanting to see him again." I stated, reaching into my purse to put my airpods away. I looked out to my right and saw the beautiful view. I absolutely loved California and all it had to offer. We easily could have done a small road trip here, but flying seemed faster.

The plane began to land and we flew forward in our seats. I kind of liked the excitement of plane landings. Anna did not as she had a worried look plastered on her face. She also was not a fan of rollercoasters.

We boarded off the plane and made our way to the car rental station. Anna disliked the traffic in California, so she kind of forced me to drive the rental car. We picked a Nissan Rogue and loaded our bags into it. Anna connected her phone to the blue tooth and began to play, you guessed it, Harry Styles. We had to hype ourselves up again for tonight.

Soon enough we made it to our hotel. It was chic and upscale with tided rooms that had modern decorations. It was definitely my type of vibe. Anna and I had unpacked our things and decided to grab lunch to pass the time.

"Char, you look absolutely stunning!" Anna squealed, pointing at me in the mirror. She was standing next to me, looking at our reflections together. I bit my lip and looked down at my feet. I wore a plum colored cropped fringe jacket, a black tank top and black high waisted flared jeans. It wasn't something I was typically comfortable wearing as it showed off my curves. I preferred to look like a plank. I wasn't one to show off my body as I was quite insecure about it. Besides, I was always comparing myself to Anna. She's absolute perfection.
