Chapter 14

-A few days later-
So things have been going pretty good. I think. Niall and I have been hanging out a lot, and we made our relationship official to the public. I think it went good. I hope it did. I do recieve hate on the internet but... I'm kind of used to it now. I really just ignore it. So today is the day that Niall and I are hanging out in the public other than school. He decided that he was going to take me on a shopping spree at the mall. I didn't want him to spend his money on me, but he insisted. From what I've noticed, Harry has been acting weird around me. When I talk to him he barely responds or just nods.Thew other day I asked him an question about History and he said "Maybe Paul Revere was upset with some people because maybe some people took away the girl he's been trying to get for a long time." I looked at him with a confused face and said, "Umm okay.." And he just walked away. Like what is his deal? I dont know. Maybe Louis (his best mate) knows. Oooo there he was. It's now or never I guess. I walked up to him whilst he stood next to the couch kind of watching the telly but not too interested. "Hey Louis I need some help. Do you think you could help me?" i asked all innocent-like. "Ohh um yeaH. Whatcha need, love?" "Well it's kind of secret.. So could you follow me out here?" "Sure thing." He said with a smile and did as instructed. I took him onto the back porch and fiddled with my hands. "You ok, love? You look a bit worried. Or upset." He asked me. "Is Harry in love with me?" I blurted without even thinking. He looked at e shocked but also like he knew the answer. "Um Haley. There's something you should know. Harry has loved you since we were kids. See, we all knew each other when we were little. But when your mom passed away and you had to live the psychopath of a dad, we all lost touch and we didn't see each other ever again. When we were younger, Niall and Harry always fought over you. They thought that each other were better for you, but they would never let either of them take you from each other. So when Niall laid eyes on you once again, he fell in love with you all over again. And that's when Harry changed. He started realizing that because Niall had you, he couldn't." I looked at him with wide eyes. I couldn't believe any word that just came out of his mouth. Did I know them when we were younger? I couldn't have. No. I don't remember hanging out them at all. I  didn't know One Direction back then. Well they weren't One Direction then. But how did this happen? I didn't even know.. "So Harry is in love with me?" I asked a bit worried. "Yes. But so is Niall. And you're with Niall." What if Niall wasn't the one. What if Harry was? I didn't know what to do. I should probably get to know Harry. But if I end up falling in love with him.. Me and Niall just went public.. "Now with that informatio, Don't do anything stupid." I looked at him and turned around to whip up the stairs when I ran into Harry. "Oh geez sorry. But I was just coming to look for you." I said. "That was my fault. But what did you need?" He asked with that gorgeous million-dollar smile. "Um take a walk with me." I didn't even ask. It was more of a demand. "Uh ok." I told Niall we'd be right back and to not worry. When we were walking I looked at him. I really looked at him like a real person.  "Do you love me?" i blurted staring at him with confidence. "Do I what?" he asked clearly shocked by my outburst. "I said. Do you love me?" i repeated. He looked at me with wide eyes. "No. You're with Niall. I could never mess that up." he was trying to be sincere. "I don't care who I'm with. If you love me, tell me you lo-" "I love you. I'm in love with everything that you do and everything you are. I have always loved you and I always will. Nothing, not even Niall, is going to change that. But you're with him. Not me." he cut me off being very honest. "I don't know what to say." i answered. What could anybody say to that? "Well. You asked if I loved you, and I told you. So.." Harry looked me right in the eye as we stopped walking. I released the breath I didn't realize I was holding. "What?" i asked shyly and quietly. "Gosh. You are so beautiful." i looked down blushing at his words. "Go with me." "Go with you where?" "Out to dinner. Haley, I know you're with Niall, but I still love you. I still love everything about you. You only have to go once. And if you don't want to again, I'll understand. But please, just give me this opportunity." "Ok. When?" "Let's go tonight. I'll have it all set up. You just get ready by 7:00. And what kind of food do you like?" wow he seemed nervous. "Any kind is fine. Buuuut what are we gonna tell the rest of them?" i asked worried about Niall. "We'll tell them that we needed to have a serious conversation and that we're discussing it over dinner. Which is true by the way." he smirked with a little giggle. Man that was so cute. Omg no. I'm with Niall. I can't fall for Harry too. "Ok. But we better get back before they think we died." i laughed and he smiled. "There's that girl I've been missin along with that sense of humour." i looked away hoping he wouldn't see me blush and smile, but of course he did.
