Chapter 8, Sleep

After the movie, Me and Lottie told the boys we were going to bed. But we really weren't. We went up to our rooms, and checked our phones. I had a missed call. It was from the police station. I thought Jay took care of this? I told Lottie i would be right back and went out in the hall to see if i could still call. They picked up. "Hi. I got a call earlier from this number I just wanted to make sure everything was ok." I told the cop. "Is this Ms.Hipsher?" "Umm yes it is. Is there something wrong?" "Well, Ms.Hipsher. Earlier today, your Dad broke out of jail. The police have had dogs roam the city, and they are doing all that they can." "It's ok. You guys will find him. You always do. Uh- thank you for telling me. I will be sure to keep a look out for him." "Ok, Ms.Hipsher. You have a nice night. I will call you tomorrow to let you know if we find anything." "OK, thank you.
