Cordelia watches as Han enters the room. He looks to Leia, who turns her back to him as he spots her. She rolls her eyes, annoyed at the tension always surrounding them. She's done everything to try to get them together, but they're both too stubborn.

"No sign of life out there, General. The sensors are in place. You'll know if anything comes around." He tells the General.

"Commander Skywalker reported in yet?" He asks.

"No. He's checking out a meteorite that hit near him." He answers.

"With all the meteor activity in this system, it's going to be difficult to spot approaching ships." The General replies.

"General, I got to leave. I can't stay anymore." He tells him.

"I'm sorry to hear that." He replies.

"Well, there's a price on my head. If I don't pay off Jabba the Hutt, I'm a dead man." Han explains. Cordelia rolls her eyes.

"A death mark's not an easy thing to live with. You're a good fighter, Solo. I hate to lose you." He says.

"Thank you, General." He says, shaking his hand. He turns away and spots Leia, who meets his gaze. "Well, Your Highness, guess this is it." She nods.

"That's right." She responds.

"Well, don't get all mushy on me. So long, Princess." Han says, hurt at her lack of a reaction. Cordelia groans as she watches him leave. She cheers quietly to herself as Leia follows him a moment later.

"Han!" She calls, approaching him in the hallway. Cordelia quietly follows, knowing Han didn't see her in the room.

"Yes, Your Highnessness?" He replies, stopping so she can stand in front of him.

"I thought you had decided to stay." Leia says.

"Well, the bounty hunter we ran into in Ord Mantell changed my mind." He replies.

"Han, we need you!" She tells him.

"We need?" He asks.

"Yes." She answers.

"Well, what about you need?" He responds.

"I need?" She asks. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"You probably don't." Han replies before he turns and walks away. Cordelia groans and smacks her head against the wall.

"And what precisely am I supposed to know?" Leia asks as she follows him. Cordelia rushes after them, just far enough away that they won't notice her.

"Come on! You want me to stay because of the way you feel about me." He tells her as they walk.

"Yes! You're a great help to us. You're a natural leader." She says. He stops and points his finger in her face.

"No! That's not it. Come on." He says. A rebel walks between them. "Come on."

"You're imagining things." She tells him. Cordelia starts smacking her head against the wall again.

"Am I? Then why are you following me? Afraid I was gonna leave without giving you a good-bye kiss?" Han says.

"I'd just as soon kiss a Wookiee!" She replies.

"I can arrange that." He tells her before walking away again. "You could use a good kiss!" He yells. Leia looks around the hall and spots Cordelia.

"How long have you been following us?" She asks. Cordelia jumps, pulling away from the wall and turning towards her friend.

"The whole time." She says. Leia glares and she chuckles. "Oh, come on, Leia. He's an idiot. Throw him a bone."

"I don't know what either of you are talking about." She replies, looking away. Cordelia groans.

"Fine. I'll go talk to him." She says and walks past her.

"What? Cordelia, don't you dare!" She calls after her.

"Too late. I've already started walking." She replies. Leia groans and she laughs.

Cordelia walks through the halls towards the hangar, knowing that's where Han will be as he prepares the Falcon to leave.

"What do you mean, nobody knows?" Han is asking C-3PO when she reaches them. She spots Chewie working on the parts he had taken apart and gives him a thumbs up when Han isn't looking, knowing he had followed her plan. She had told him to slow down Han if he tells him to prepare the Falcon.

"Well, uh-" C-3PO says. Han ignores him as he calls for the Deck Officer, covering the droid's mouth when he tries to speak.

"Do you know where Commander Skywalker is?" He asks.

"I haven't seen him. It's possible he came through the south entrance." The officer answers.

"It's possible? Why don't you go find out? It's getting dark out there." Han orders.

"Yes, sir." He answers before leaving.

"Excuse me, sir. Might I inquire what's going on?" C-3PO asks when Han removes his hand.

"Yeah, what's happening? Luke's missing?" Cordelia asks. Han ignores them and walks away.

"Come along, R2, let's find Princess Leia. Between ourselves, I think Master Luke is in considerable danger." C-3PO says. Cordelia watches them leave before sitting next to Chewie. She sighs.

"I'm staying with you, Chewie. You never let me down and there's so much less drama when I hang with you." She says. He growls, telling her that he loves spending time with her too. She sighs again, worried about Luke.

Chewie growls again, assuring her that he'll be all right. He wraps his arm around her shoulders and pulls her into his side. Cordelia wraps her arms around him and squeezes, thankful that he's there for her when she needs him.

"You're my favorite brother." She whispers. He growls softly, returning the sentiment. She laughs. "Han would have Leia if he'd pull his head out of his ass." She says. Chewie agrees again, adding that he thinks it's so far up there it'd take too long to get out. She laughs again, leaning into his side.

Cordelia stands with Leia as they wait for any sign of Han or Luke. She watches Chewie as he paces nearby.

"Mistress Leia, R2 says he's been quite unable to pick up any signals, although he does admit that his own range is far too weak to abandon all hope." C-3PO says as he and R2 approach. The officers nearby follow.

"Your Highness, there's nothing more we can do tonight. The shield doors must be closed." One tells her. She looks down and nods. "Close the doors." He orders the other.

Cordelia moves to join Chewie as he stops pacing and stands near the ladder. She wraps her arms around him and he wraps one arm around her shoulders, the other staying on the ladder.

"R2 says the chances of survival are 725 to 1." C-3PO says. They watch as the doors start to close. Chewie throws his head back and roars as they shut. Cordelia tightens her arms around him and buries her face in his fur. "Actually, R2 has been known to make mistakes...from time to time."

Hey guys, sorry it's late. Not gonna lie, yesterday I spent all day watching Reno 911 and Doctor Who instead of writing or being productive at all lmao
