~~Post-Crystalized~~

Lloyd was annoyed.
He couldn't find it anywhere.
He had been at the mall for hours looking for it and still nothing.
There was only one more store he had not checked.
He walked immediately going towards the cosmetic aisle.
"Finally!" He exclaimed.
He grabbed it and went to the cashier.
.
.
.
Lloyd rushed back inside, hoping no one noticed his absence.
He was going straight for his bedroom.
"Lloyd."
He froze.
"H-hey Kai!"
.
..
...
"Where have you been."
"Out?"
"You've been gone all day!" He exclaimed.
Lloyd gave him an exasperated look.
"Why do you even need to know Kai." He scoffed.
"You're not my parent!"
After a moment, he winced at his choice of words.
Kai froze.
Lloyd looked at him apologetically.
"Sorry.."
He entered his room and sighed.
He locked the door and turned the lights on.
When they finished rebuilding the monastery, three of the bedrooms had bathrooms.
Master Wu and Nya took two of them.
Which led to the boys 'settling it like adults.'
Lloyd won so he thankfully got the room.
He entered the bathroom and started a shower.
He pulled out blond hair dye.
.
.
.
When Master Wu had gone missing and everyone left, Lloyd's hair started turning darker.
Only a few months later it was brown.
Like his father's was back when he met Mother.
He resorted to dying his hair blonde again.
But because of how stupid he was he never got the same shade or brand which led to his inconsistent hair color.
Surprisingly, no one noticed.
.
.
.
Lloyd had been training all morning.
He grabbed some clothes and got in the shower.
He felt refreshed and no longer covered in sweat by the time he got out.
He put on a green hoodie with black accents.
And some loose pants.
He looked in the mirror and froze.
His hair was brown.
He rushed to check the box of dye he had been using in the past few months.
Washable.
The only reason he didn't notice was because the dye from the previous box had not faded until now.
He felt tears of frustration build up in his eyes.
Other than his eyes he looked just like his dad.
He pulled up his hood.
"Lloyd! Lunch's ready!"
He debated pretending he was still in the shower.
"Zane made the food!"
Okay nevermind.
Lloyd made sure his hair was not visible under his hood and he left his room.
He sat at the corner of the table by Pixal.
He knew she would not question him as much.
"Is Lloyd in his emo arc now?" Jay asked jokingly.
"Bold of you to assume he's not always emo." Kai said.
"Hey!" Lloyd responded, clearly annoyed.
Lloyd began to eat from the fruit plate.
"Why are you wearing the hood Lloyd?" Zane asked.
"I feel bit cold, that's all." He replied.
"Well Kai isn't cold, so you shouldn't be cold." Cole stated.
"Are you sick!?" Nya exclaimed in concern.
"No! I'm fine guys! It's just cold-"
"Did you dye your hair?" Kai asked.
"Like how people do on social media and they pull down their hood to reveal the color change?"
"Kai- no." He denied.
He barely held back a flinch at the mention of dye.
Lloyd had been so distracted by the others, he did not notice Jay sneaking up on him.
Suddenly, his hood fell back and everyone froze.
...
"YOU DID DYE YOUR HAIR!"
Lloyd stood up and swiftly left the room.
.
.
.
Kai knocked on Lloyd's door.
"Lloyd no one's mad you dyed your hair." He said in amusement.
"We were going to have a Prime Empire tournament. Want to join?"
"No."
"Lloyd-"
"I said no."
"Fine, we'll start without you."
Kai stood there for a moment before pretending to walk away.

There was some shuffling behind the door.

The door opened.
"Fine." Lloyd grumbled.
Kai smiled.
.

When Lloyd entered the living room they were already playing.
Jay was trying to beat Cole's high score but he caught sight of Lloyd's hair and got distracted.
A few moments later there was the sound of his character losing it's last life.
"Aw man.." Jay frowned.
Cole smirked. "I told you you couldn't do it."
"It's not my fault! Lloyd's hair is distracting-"
Lloyd rolled his eyes at Jay's comment as he sat down.
"Why'd you dye it anyway? Your blonde hair looked great- Ow!"
Kai elbowed Jay in the ribs.
Everyone turned to Lloyd at that.
He fiddled with his fingers and looked away.
He mumbles something.
"Sorry, what was that?" Zane asked.
Lloyd took a deep breath.
"This is my natural hair color.."
Nya, who was sipping on some water choked.
"WHAT?!"

I planned on adding more but, I'm too lazy right now. Also, this has been in my drafts for so long I don't feel like waiting for more inspiration.
This is based off of a headcanon of mine btw.
Lloyd's canon hair color is so inconsistent I swear-
Also on the topic of Lloyd's hair-
In crystallized his hair got progressively darker throughout the season, and he got covered in mud and quicksand and stuff at some point.
So, I have come to the conclusion that his hair was just extremely dirty.
Look at it and you can see it.
I'm gonna stop rambling now-
