Ch 3

The next morning I reluctantly wake up to my alarm and sigh before slowly getting out of bed. I head over to my closet picking out some clothes then go do my hair and makeup before getting dressed putting Matt's necklace in my pocket. I then go to open my curtains only to grimace when I see it's raining pretty hard outside. Sighing I go to my closet grabbing an umbrella before I grab a granola bar to eat then head outside walking to the entertainment company safely under my umbrella and quickly eat the granola bar before entering I putting my umbrella aside before going over to Kira. "Good morning." She looks at me and smiles. "Morning oppa." I look around anxiously Kira giving me a sympathetic look. "She's not here yet. But she'll be here soon. I'm sorry you got stuck with her." I grimace and sigh. "It's okay I'll just have to deal." She smiles apologetically at me and I jump when I hear Lydia's voice yelling "Sampson go get me a coffee! And make sure it's right this time." I immediately turn and go to protest but see her scary look then just silently grab my umbrella and head to the coffee shop. Once I grab the coffee I head back into the styling room and head over to Lydia handing her the coffee with a "here." She grabs the coffee out of my hand and drinks some of it nodding. "Better." Soon we're joined by Kard again but this time Lydia's assigned to do J. Seph's makeup I seeing her annoyed pout. She does her job again telling me to clean everything I doing as told. My hand goes to my pocket where the necklace is but I can't get to Matt to talk to or give it to him without making a scene. Letting out a sigh I watch as the members finish another photoshoot then leave I going to grab my umbrella to leave when suddenly it's grabbed away from me making me frown when I see Lydia with it. "Oh thank you Sampson I needed an umbrella I can't get a ride so I have to walk home and I don't want to get wet." Before I can say anything she's out the door with my only umbrella and it's pouring outside not looking like it's going to slack up anytime soon. Sighing I step outside immediately shivering when the cold rain drenches me chilling me straight to the bone. I barely make it away from the building shivering to bad and hugging myself for warmth when I see headlights approaching a truck coming to a stop beside me. Looking curious and wary the window rolls down I immediately surprised to see Matt at the steering wheel. "Hey what on earth are you doing out in the rain without a jacket or umbrella?" I shift a little giving a sheepish look my teeth chattering "I... I m.. misplaced my u.. umbrella and forgot my j.... Jacket at home." I see him frown before he presses a button I hearing the doors unlock. "Get in." I blink but get into the truck my whole body shaking and my lips blue. Matt gives me a worried look reaching in the back before handing me a large hoodie I slowly putting it on buckling up after and he turns the heater on facing the vents towards me making me let out a sigh. "Thanks." He gives a small smile before he starts driving I looking out the window when I realize I haven't mentioned about where I live. "Oh I forgot to tell you where I live." He gives me a reassuring smile. "It's fine we're going to my apartment instead." I immediately feel shy I hiding my face in my sweater paws as we come to a stop at a fancy apartment complex. Matt grabs an umbrella before hopping out then comes over onto my side opening the door for me I hopping down at his side he holding the umbrella over us both as he leads us inside. Once we reach inside we head to his apartment I stepping in and take my shoes and wet socks off then follow Matt he leading me into the bedroom where he starts digging through his closet. He then throws a hoodie, boxers and sweatpants at me I quickly catching them. "How come you have these smaller clothes?" He closes his closet door and needs me to the bathroom. "I've shrunken a few things in the wash a few times and never got rid of them. Now go on and take a hot shower so you won't get sick and I'll dry your clothes for you." I smile at him appreciatively then walk into the bathroom closing and locking the door then turn the shower onto hot before hopping in and wash my hair and body quickly then hop out putting on the clothes given to me the hoodie again giving me sweater paws I smiling and grab Matt's necklace as I exit the bathroom looking around curiously before hearing a commotion following it to see a kitchen and Matt is at the stove cooking what looks like soup. I step further into the room and take a seat on a stool at the counter Matt turning when the stool screeches. "Hey how do you feel?" I smile happily. "A lot better thanks." He waves me off then I suddenly remember the necklace. "Oh! You dropped something yesterday but I didn't get a chance to see you privately earlier." I hold out the necklace for him he carefully taking it with a smile. "Thanks I was going crazy looking for it." I smile happily as he puts the necklace on then thank him when he hands me some soup I eating it eagerly. Once I'm finished I go put my dishes in the sink then rub my eyes tiredly. "Do you need me to take the couch?" He immediately shakes his head. "No you take my bed I'll take the couch." I frown and protest. "It's your house I don't wanna steal your bed." He goes to protest when I cut him off. "Maybe we can share?" He thinks for a moment before nodding. "Sure we can share. Go ahead and go to the room I need to change." I nod walking to his bedroom and climb in his giant soft bed sighing taking my glasses off and lay back staring up at the ceiling. Soon Matt joins me and I rub my eyes tiredly wishing him a sleepy "goodnight" as I fall asleep.
