Episode 7 What lies beneath
It's the next morning and me, dad and uncle stefan are in the living room with Luke, Liv's twin, who is trying to do a spell in our couch but failing
Ma and my dad are making ourselves a drink when I nudge dad making him look at me. I pick up some ice and throw it at Luke making Damon grin and Luke stop chanting.
"That's not helping"Luke says with his eyes still closed
Stefan walks into the room
"Well you've been failing for an hour, wonder twin so at this point I can't imagine it's hurting"Dad says throwing a piece of ice in Luke's face again making him flinch and me laugh
Uncle Stefan leans on a chair"Damon, I know you're out a friend but, uh, I'm not sure this guy is the best replacement."
"That's what I told him"I put some ice in my drink
"I don think this guy is the best anything if his locator spells skills are any indication."He pops a grape in his mouth
"Yo, where's your sister?"Dad asks Luke
He stops chanting"She's tired of being almost murdered."He opens his eyes to look at Damon"Look, I can find any person anywhere on the planet.Okay, there's just something wierd with your friend Enzo. I can't get a read."
"Or, maybe your just not doing the spell right"I steal one of dad's grapes making him slap my hand in a playful matter, which makes me slap his laughing
Stefan stands up straight making our attention go to him"Enzo. Didn't he, uh, go to Cape Horn?"
"He flipped his humanity switch.There should have been a body count all the way to the airport."Dad grins
Uncle Stefan crosses his arms"Ah. Why are you looking for him?"
I give him a pointed look"Really?... Are you dumb?"
He gives me an offended look
Dad rolls his eyes"Gee, I don't know, Stefan. A vampire with no humanity who wants me dead for killing his girl. Hmm."He walks round the table
My uncle raises his eyebrows"Well, maybe he hired a witch to block whatever Luke's doing.Isbthat possible?"He looks at Luke
"A cloaking spell?"I ask walking to sit next to Luke who nods to me
"I guess."Luke looks at the map
"I guess, that would mean he doesn't want to be found.So, uh, why don't you just drop it."Stefan looks at dad with a look
