The Barrens

We were at Eddie's house and Richie and Eddie were bickering like they always do.

"Hey, Eddie, these your birth control pills?" Richie joked.

"Yeah, I'm saving them for your sister! This is private stuff!" Eddie yelled back.

Me and Bill looked at each other before looking back at them.

"Why am I friends with you guys again?" Them all.

"B-because we're Losers, and L-Losers stick together" Bill gave a powerful speech, almost like he carved it into my heart, I blushed and smiled at my feet. 

I nodded and we headed out.

"Bye mom gonna go hang out with my friends!" Eddie chirped.

"Oh, Eddie bear" His mother called out "Aren't you forgetting something?" Eddie looked at us before sighing, Eddie walked to his mom and kissed her cheek. Sonia glared at me before saying "What is she doing here?" Sonia pointed at me, I held my head low.

"Uh.. Y/n's my friend, mom" Sonia just shook her head.

"You know I don't want you hanging out with her"

Tears welled up in my eyes and Bill put his hand on my shoulder, it made me feel a little bit better but the words still stung.

"Mom.. Please don't judge her" Eddie pleaded.

"Fine fine, but I'll warn you. She's trouble" 

I felt so bad at that moment that I walked out of that bitches house and sat on the steps, Richie stayed inside but Bill followed me and sat next to me.

"S-she's wrong you know, you aren't t-t-trouble" Bill stuttered.

"Then why does everyone, including adults, think I'm such a slut?" I asked him, as I felt as our atmosphere collide.. It made my heart melt.

"Because of s-stupid Bowers" 

 I nodded and got up, everyone else joined us (don't forget Stan existed) and we biked to the barrens.

(I forgot what happened lol)

"Doesn't smell like caca to me senor!" Richie joked.

"Okay, I can smell that from here!" Eddie gagged.

"It's probably your breath wafting back to your face!"

A stout boy fell into the river from above, we looked back and I ran and helped him.

"Oh my god! Are you okay?!" I asked him and he nodded, we drove him to an alley and went inside a drugstore, keeping Richie and Ben outside. 

Eddie grabbed everything he could and Stan bud in.

"Can we afford all that?" He asked, all of us shrugged and Bill pulled out a dollar, Stan and Eddie did too. 

"Three dollars won't get us crap, guys" 

"No shit" Eddie sighed, a girl came from the period pad isle, we shared a label. We're both sluts. 

It was Beverly Marsh.

With pretty, long rusty hair, glossy grey eyes, and such a good fashion sense.

She held a pad box behind her back and Bill spoke up "Y-you okay?"

"Fine, what's wrong with you?" She asked back.

"None of your business" Stan crossed his arms.

"We need help with a kid outside, but we don't have any money, you think you can help?" I asked her nicely.

She frowned "I don't have any money, but I have one trick that's guaranteed to work" She winked.

Eddie helped out Ben as Bill and Beverly walked together, seeing this made my heart hurt.

"W-we were gonna go to the quarry tomorrow, wanna come with?" Bill asked with his cheeks dusted pink.

"Sure" She smiled, making Bill blush a little bit heavier.

"I- I gotta go, bye" I got on my bike and drove off, Bill watched me bike away confused.
