The breakfast went by awfully slow and you barely got to speak of course. Everyone kept laughing at Kanes jokes and otherwise, talked about businesses and money.
You just wanted it to be over so you could go out. Maybe you could have a different Guard escort you around town? You were sure you could somehow find Lenon.

"So.." The King cleared his throat and looked at you and Kane, "I know we haven't even had the wedding but I'm interested in what names you've come up with for the heir?"

Your jaw dropped and eyes widened as Kane choked on water.
The King began to laugh, "It's never too early to think of a name for the little boy!"
"Boy??" you asked, "I'm not with child?!"
"Doesn't mean you can't think of the future that could be near. No one wants an old, pregnant woman!" he chuckled and the other royals joined in.
"How does age relate to anything? I'm only nineteen and I'm not even married yet!" you began to speak out of part and you heard a gasp.

The King cleared his throat and completely ignored what you said, "What do you think Lord Kane?"

Kane had been quiet after the mention of a child. You gave him a glare as he drank his water.

"It's too early to think about that" Kane claimed and The King nodded.

You couldn't believe your father so willing accepted Kanes response but not yours!
It felt like day by day you were getting frustrated with the unfairness.

Soon breakfast ended and everyone scattered. You found a Guard in the hallway and stopped him.

"Hi! What Regiment are you in?" you asked with a smile and he quickly bowed.
"Princess! Oh I'm in Denote! Is there anything you need?"
"Yes.. I need an escort to the Kingdom"
"May I ask when?"
"Right now" you stated and his expression dropped.
"I'm sorry Princess, I can't. I have strict orders to stay in this spot"
You laughed, "I'm sorry, are you going to listen to a Royal or your boss?"
"I'm sorry Princess, let's go"

You smiled as you and the Guard started heading out but you were called from behind.
It was the Head Knight of the Regiment Denote.

"What do you think you're doing with my Guard?" he asked and you smiled at him.
"I need to borrow him"
"James back in your spot!" The Knight ordered and you rolled your eyes.

You glanced at the older male with annoyance. He was one of the new replacements and he seemed to be a cocky one.

"What's your name?"
"Poco"
"I need to borrow your Guard Poco" you demanded with crossed arms and he just looked at you.
"Does the King know you're not in your room? Todays not Wednesday, you're not supposed to go out to the Kingdom.."
"No one has to know" You smiled as you touched his arm and he analyzed you before pulling out a walkie talkie.
"No wait!!"

"The Princess is unsupervised and she is trying to go to the Kingdom. She's in the south Wing"

"You snitch!" you insulted as Gold Guards rushed down the hall and quickly began to escort you to your room.

"Let go of me!" You told them finally making it up the stairs.
Kane was sitting outside your door. He shoo'ed the other Guards off and you followed him inside.

Once you shut the door, he immediately started scolding you, "Stop making trouble!! You will gain nothing but a bad reputation in the Palace.. I mean seriously, trying to order Denotes Guards around??"

You rolled your eyes and sat on your bed.

You really didn't know what to do..
Even as a Princess, you had no power.

"Are you listening??" Kane came closer and you didn't reply. He tilted your chin and you glared at him. "When I talk to you, answer"
"You don't control me.."

He smirked as he looked into your eyes. He had taken his contacts out and now you could see his natural, green eyes as they gleamed into yours.

"It'd be interesting if I told the King that we changed our minds.."
You looked at him disgusted, "What? Where are you going with this?"
Kane stood up straight and shrugged, "He'll believe anything I say really.. so if I told him we wanted to have a baby to continue the blood line, I might not even need to kill him. That might actually be more smarter.." You stood up angrily as he continued, "I mean, I might have even more power with his support when I'm King. I'd eventually still have to kill him but imagine the power I'd hold with my baby inside the Princess.."
"You're disgusting!" you yelled with tears and he rolled his eyes.
"Just listen to what I say and I won't tell the King"
"Damn you"
"What?"
"I said damn you Sirus Kane!!" You yelled and he glared at you resentfully.

You couldn't help the self pity for your situation. You were already devastated at the execution of Glamelia and the mistreatment of your father, but now such blackmail that went against your Princess mindset?

Even a killer treated you better than this.

"Watch your mouth!" Kane yelled as he stepped forward but you couldn't stop the tears. You turned away as you covered your teary face but he grabbed your arm. "Why are you crying?! Just do as I say and I won't tell the king!!"

You didn't reply and he pushed you flat on the bed as you both got progressively more upset. You began to sob and his eyes widened.

"Stop crying! You have no reason to cry! You're a Princess, you can have anything you want!" he spat annoyed but you turned your head.

You hated the moment you had your breakdown, Kane had to be in the room.

"Please.. leave me alone.." you sniffled embarrassed and he climbed on top of you.
"Are you a baby? Seriously Princess you're crying? Worse is to come!!" he stated as he began to stroke your face.
"I know.." you mumbled as he turned your head to look at him.
"Will you cry like this the day I kill you?"
"That will never happen.."

Kane chuckled a bit as he wiped your tears. He looked in your eyes and you gulped as his lips came closer to yours.
Slowly, he pecked your lips and you both said not a word as he did so again but longer. Kanes lips trailed up your wet cheeks as he held down your wrists. Both your lips met again and you quickly sat up as you backed away.

"W-What are you trying to do?!"
