Going Home

the kittens were napping, and they were on the way home, with lauren's finger bleeding. they went home and they got out of the car. lauren took the kittens, and lori took the necessities, and went in the house. they got in, took their shoes off and unpacked everything. lori set everything up and put the kittens down. lori filled the bowls with food and water in the kitchen, while lauren was whining about her finger that needed stitches. "mom could you please hurry up? i'm bleeding you know" says lauren. "honey your gonna have to be patient, in almost done, okay?" "okay" lauren sighed and waited for her mom to finish. lori finished setting everything up, and took a look at her finger. "okay, let my get my stitching things and stitch it up!" "okay mom." lori gets her stitches and cleans the cut and starts. they sat at the dinner table with a cloth and and sewing kit. she started stitching. "OWW MOM!" "i know sweetie, it hurts but it needs to be done" lauren screeches in pain. it really hurts because it's a deep deep cut. "okay, i'm all done. it will be sore for a couple days but it will heal, don't worry" "okay mom but aren't you going to put a cast on it?" lauren says while wiping away her tears. "no, i'm going to put a special tape on it which will keep the dirt out of it. it's a special patch" "okay" she puts the patch on and lauren goes in the living room and sits down. "take it easy on your finger, and don't go near nala for a while. she probably needs some personal space" "i know mom, we did a project about kittens in school, i probably know more than you!" she says while smiling and giggling. "oh do you know?" she says while laughing. lori sat down and looked for some movies to watch. good thing it was the weekend, because it was 10:30. "what movie would you like to watch?" says lori. "maybe hocus pocus 2 ?" "honey we have watched that about 5 times ever since it came out." "so? we can watch it again!" "okay i guess, i will put it on while i make popcorn. would you like some?" "yes please, extra buttery" "okay" lori makes the popcorn and they start the movie.
