Introduction:

This story takes place after Halloween Ends, except in this story Corey didn't die.

After he has his fight with Laurie instead of stabbing himself he flees the scene.

Micheal Myers is dead but Corey Cunningham is still no where to be seen after that night.

Allyson has left town leaving her Grandmother Laurie behind just like in the movie.

Now we continue our story..

3 Months Later:
________

It was moving day. My Aunt decided our life in Indiana was boring and wanted to move somewhere exciting.
So of course she picked Haddonfield, Illinois. The town known for its notorious psycho killer..

Micheal Myers.

Thankfully he's dead, atleast last time I heard. In my small town in Indiana news spread quick, but it wasn't always truthful.

It was a 4 hour drive to Haddonfield, I slept most of the way while my Aunt blasted her music throughout the car. Good thing I acquired noise canceling headphones- when you live with this women it's hard not to own a pair.
My Aunt was young- about 35. She let me live with her after the incident when I was 17, and I owe her everything for taking good care of me at that time. So yeah, I moved with her even though she's hard to deal with at times..

Our 4 hour drive went by quick, next thing I knew we were pulling into the drive way of our new home. Houses lining the block, I wasn't used to this. In Indiana we lived basically in the middle of no where, so I already know having neighbors is gonna be difficult to get used to.

I stepped out of the car, the nice winter air hits my face helping my recover from being in a moving vehicle for hours. My Aunt couldn't wait to go inside, she stumbled up onto the steps and straight in. I however decided to look around.
It was quiet and peaceful, no one outside which was normal considering it's about 1 pm on a weekday- well I thought no one was outside. As I looked around I made eye contact with an older lady on her porch, her house being right next to ours.

I waved, but all I got back was a slight smile. She had her arms crossed wearing a cardigan, typical older women outfit. I sighed before I started packing our boxes inside.

________

My Aunt and I sat at the dining table, eating some pizza we had made in the oven. After a long day of unpacking and moving furniture we need some dinner.

Aunt: "So is the new house..okay?" she smiled, a smile of stress.

Y/N: "It's definitely different.." I muttered.

She gave me a concerned look, a pout on her face. I change my expression to a soft smile for her reasurrence.

Y/N: "I'll get used to it, it's diffirent here yeah- but that's good! We needed to get out of that town anyway..to many weirdos with long greasy beards" I laughed.

My Aunt smiled and laughed along with me

Aunt: "..Have you taken your medicine today?" she gulped before looking down at her half eaten slice of pizza.

Y/N: "Yes, Aunty.."

Aunt: "Twice??"

Y/N: "Yes!" I sighed heavily, "Don't worry about me, I'm 22..I can take care of myself now" I clenched my jaw and looked down.

Yes, I love my Aunt, but she treats me like I'm the same person as I was when I was 17- which I'm not. I've grown and matured, and taken my medication since then. I know better now..

________

After our dinner ended in a small raise of voices, I headed up to my new room. It was empty now, but I figured I'd head to the store tomorrow to decorated accordingly. On the upside I had a window viewing the street, I could see the Christmas lights beaming through my window. I stared outside for a moment take in the new environment. Things would be different from now on..things would be better.

I was about to close my curtains before meeting my gaze with a man down in front of the house. He was half hidden behind a tree but I could see him and his shape. We made eye contact before I closed my eyes and shook my head, when I opened them again the man was gone.
"Stupid" I mumbled to myself before I aggravateingly closed my curtains. I scavaved through my packed boxes and find my medicine. I swallow my 3 pills and rest on the bed.

"New town, new me.." I sighed before closing my eyes.

_______

POV- The Man Behind The Tree

I was unsure of what to do after being spotted by her. The first time I've made eye contact with someone in 3 months..

I fleed after she closed her eyes, but I still watched. She closed her curtains, and I went home. Home to my drains and pipes, to hear the echos of the rats eating and running about.

Home Sweet Home.
