vissera targaryen, daughter of daelon targaryen and emma arryn, was an enigma to everyone around her. years younger than her cousin aemma, she was brought in as a ward to her and king viserys when her parents tragically died in a shipwreck while trying to sail to driftmark to meet up with their sister house, the velaryon's.

vissera's appearance was the topic of many conversations. many people said she was the perfect mix of an arryn and a targaryen, whilst others called her a pretender. brown arryn hair with delicate strands of targaryen silver as well as one purple eye and one brown eye.

her mother always told her she was a gift from the old gods as well as the valyrian pantheon itself. emma arryn was barren for most of her life but vissera was a surprise to both her and her husband. being the outcast children of both houses, emma and daelon both sought comfort in each other, and from that comfort sprung vissera.

when her parents died, a few years after king viserys' coronation, vissera went to live with aemma. she was stricken with grief, her parents were the only ones that have ever loved her unconditionally for who she was, but didn't let her grief consume her. she spent most of her time either training with the sword or on dragonback sailing the skies of kings landing, much to queen aemma's displeasure.

vissera become one of kings landing most skilled fighters. many knights and lords would doubt her skill but would eat their words once she had them pinned to the ground with a sword towards their neck.

at age eight and ten, vissera left kings landing to go study magic of old. her parents had told her from a young age that the gods of old valyria had blessed her with not only a dragon, but with the ability of magic like her ancestors had. she heard the stories of the army of wizards that helped the dragon lords of old valyria rule over their city, and she knew that her gift was a powerful one.

she comes back to kings landing on dragon back two years later with the news of her cousins tragic passing in childbirth and the death of her one day old nephew. she mourns with viserys as well as rhaenyra, her sweet niece who would always follow her around the red keep.

years go by and vissera is truly a master of magic as well as remaining one of the realm's most skilled fighters. she travels across the seven kingdoms, the adventurer in her never wanting to settle down in one place for too long. in her travels, she was able to conjure an army of twenty thousand and some people, men and women alike. this army is seen as an unstoppable force due to the rigorous training vissera has implemented as well as her magic.

that soon stops once rhaenyra gives birth to her first son, jacaerys velaryon. vissera vows to protect her kin, who look so much like emma and jocelyn arryn. this deep devotion might change the course of the dance of the dragon.

did i really come up w extra arryn and targaryen ocs just to kill them instantly for the sake of plot? yes i did. this au is gonna be so au that their multiversal timelines aren't even close. this is just me fixing all the things while trying to worldbuild in a world i have yet to completely understand. someone blame george rr martin!
