Chapter 20

"Teacher jungkook, is there something wrong?"

"Ah, no, sir... I have come to hand over the sample paper for the mid-exam." Jungkook said that and looked at the familiar looking couple in the room.

"Is this teacher jungkook?" When Mrs. Kim asked in surprise, the principal nodded yes.

"Yes, Mrs. Kim and Mr. Kim, this is Jeon Jungkook. Our school's art teacher and taehyung's homeroom teacher." Jungkook now realized that it was taehyung's parents. When his whole mind was filled with an unfamiliar fearful feeling, he greeted them both with a small smile.

"Jungkook, this is Mr. and Mrs. Kim, owners of our school, and taehyung's parents."

"Hello!" As Jungkook bowed his head, Mr. Kim looked at jungkook sharply and gave a nod. Mrs. Kim was looking at jungkook the whole time.

"Sir, shall I go then?" Jungkook turned to the principal again and Mrs. Kim interrupted him.

"Teacher jungkook, can I talk to you for a moment?"

"O-okay ma'am." Jungkook said as his heart beat faster.

"Okay then.. Honey, you talk to the principal about the work. I'll talk to teacher jungkook." Mrs. Kim said that to her husband and took his permission and came out of the principal's room with jungkook.

Jungkook quietly walked into the art room with Mrs. Kim wondering what taehyung's mom had to talk to him about.

"Sit down ma'am."

"I don't want to be called ma'am, teacher jungkook. Just call me Mrs. Kim."

"Okay, Mrs. Kim." Taehyung's mom sat in front of Jungkook's desk and looked at jungkook who was sitting in front of her.

"How old are you? I mean you look so young."

"I'm twenty-three, Mrs. Kim."

"As I thought. You look young than your age tho." Jungkook smiled shyly as Mrs. Kim said with a loving smile.

"Now, I have an idea why our tae likes you." Mrs. Kim said, jungkook had a hard time controlling his cough.

"Taehyung.. he is a very good student."

"Yes, he's a good kid, but he's a bit stubborn. I'm happy to see him smiling and happy again, but I think our tae is in love with someone." That time, jungkook coughed loudly.

"Are you okay??" When Mrs. Kim quickly got up and patted jungkook's back, jungkook's eyes filled with tears because he felt his mother's affection from taehyung's mother.

"Oh kiddo.. why are you crying?"

"You remind me of my eomma." As jungkook wiped the tears from his eyes, Mrs. Kim caressed jungkook's head lovingly.

"If you like, you can treat me like your  mother." When Mrs. Kim squeezed jungkook's chubby cheek, jungkook was really surprised that Mrs. Kim was such a good-natured person. Moreover, this is the first time that these two have met.

On the other hand, even Mrs. Kim could not imagine why someone she saw today touched her heart so much.

"You seem like such a nice person, Mrs. Kim. Now I know why taehyung is so genuine too.."

"Our tae bear?? Genuine?? I think tae is acting like a good person in front of you. Taehyung is not as calm and collected as my eldest son namjoon. Taehyung is very mischievous.. but yeah he is cute. No matter how much a brat he is to others, he doesn't go beyond our word. And no matter how bratty he is, he has not hurt us." When Mrs. Kim said, jungkook saw the love for taehyung in those eyes.
