Chapter 25

When taehyung woke up the next morning, he felt a headache so strong that his head would explode.

"Ah!!" Taehyung let out a painful groan. He slowly leaned against the headboard, and the door to the room opened.

"Ah, the big boss is up." Mrs. Kim said rolling her eyes and sat on the corner of the bed while slapping taehyung's hand.

"Ouch eomma..." Mrs. Kim ruffled his hair as taehyung pouted, rubbing his hand.

"Get up, let's have breakfast with everyone today."

"What's special today??"

"Idiot... don't you remember who you came home with yesterday?" It was when Mrs. Kim asked that Taehyung remembered that he talked to namjoon yesterday.

"D..did hyung come with me??" Mrs. Kim smiled and nodded as taehyung asked with big eyes.

"S..so.. is hyung at home now??"

"Hmm.. don't you feel a mouth watering smell?? Your brother in law is cooking today. Go and wash your face. Our family is complete today.. so we can have a family dinner." Mrs. Kim said, taehyung looked at his mother's smiling face and smiled. Even though he was sad, taehyung was genuinely happy to see his mother happy. He loves his family dearly. So it's not surprising that he loves jungkook, who is his only love, so much, isn't it?

"The day your lover comes to this house, our family is truly complete." Mrs. Kim said and looked at taehyung, the smile on her face faded when she saw taehyung's glossy eyes.

"Tae.. oh baby, why is this?? Please tell me.. do you have any problem?? Is that why you are acting this way?" When Mrs. Kim asked, taehyung smiled through tears and shook his head.

"No eomma... your baby bear is fine."

Mrs. Kim let out a long breath and patted taehyung on the back while taehyung was hiding his emotions as usual.

"Hmm tell us your problem any day you like.. Now go and take a wash and come down."

Mrs. Kim said and went downstairs. Meanwhile, jin was preparing the dinning table.

"Oh dear, you have prepared a lot. You must be tried now."

"No Mrs. Kim. I cooked for you with pleasure."

"Call me eomma, dear.. Now we are a family."

"Okay eomma. Um.. you look sad. If you like you can tell me anything.."  Mrs. Kim sighed and looked at jin.

"Tae bear... he seems to be stuck in some big problem, but he won't tell us about it."

"I will try to talk to him too, eomma."

"Oh, that's a big help son."

While talking, both of them prepared the dining table together. After a while, when everyone in the family was sitting at the table, everyone's hearts were filled with happiness. Except one.. Yes, taehyung remembered his jungkook at that time too. But he was happy that his hyung was back home.

After two or three days, taehyung started talking to namjoon again like before. And taehyung became close with jin even more than with namjoon.

So that day jin sat with taehyung on the stone garden bench in front of the small pond in the garden to talk to taehyung about his problem as he had promised to Mrs. Kim.

"Tae.."

"Hyung..?"

"I was just going to ask this.. why are you skipping school?? This is the last year, isn't it?" When jin asked, taehyung looked down without saying anything.

"You go to the club too much. Tell me, tae.. is there something wrong with you? Is it because you said that someone left you that day? We met you at the cafe earlier.. Was it the boy who was with you that day?" Taehyung looked at jin, startled.

"How did hyung think it was him??"

"When I saw you two that day, I thought you must be a couple.. that's why.."

A sad smile formed on taehyung's lips as jin said.

"Hmm.. That's him. My kookie.. My love.. but he left me." With the closeness that he felt with jin, taehyung told him their story while jin listened attentively. Taehyung didn't tell anything to his eomma and appa because he didn't want to hurt their hearts. But in front of jin, taehyung said everything on his mind.

"So if you think the story in his letter is a lie.. if you believe that he really loved you, why do you waste like this? I'm sure he did it for some other reason."

"I don't know, hyung.. I don't know if what he said is true or not. Maybe he really wanted someone better than me." Taehyung said that and smiled sadly.

"Then what you need to do is not waste like this, tae.." Jin said, taehyung raised his eyes and looked at him.

"What you need to do is to be the person he wants. If he wanted someone mature enough to take the responsibility, why wouldn't you be the kind of person he would regret if he ever met you again? That's the best punishment you can give to someone who left you.. Nothing is solved by being drunk and wasted."

Taehyung felt jin's words that day. And those words were the first foundation for the birth of a new taehyung.

Taehyung's first step as a responsible adult was to walk lisa down the aisle and hand her over to hobi.

Lisa, who had no family, was very helpless that day. Usually the bride is escorted to the groom by her father. But lisa's father and her only brother were not there that day, so the girl was sad. But that day taehyung did not leave lisa alone for jungkook.

Dressing up in full suit, taehyung strode forward like a prince and lisa walked forward with her arms hooked with taehyung's hand, looking like a fairy princess in a long white gown. The bride's eyes are usually on the groom who is waiting for her down the aisle, but the whole time lisa's tearful eyes were focused on taehyung. Everyone was looking at this incident in surprise. Especially taehyung's parents. They didn't know much about lisa because they came from hobi's side. While everyone's cameras were focused on the two of them, Taehyung calmly took lisa's hand that was wrapped around his hand and placed it on hobi's hand.

"Think lisa is my noona and take care of her. I know.. you will definitely do that, hobi hyung." Lisa knows that the day she tells jungkook about this incident, he will cry profusely.

When the newlyweds said their vows in front of the priest, instead of lisa, who had bunny teeth and bambi eyes like jungkook, taehyung imagined jungkook in her. While a heavy tear fell from those beautiful siren eyes, taehyung secretly wiped his eyes and left the church. Taehyung walked forward while one or two raindrops started to fall from the sky as if the aky felt taehyung's sadness. And taehyung also let tears fall from his eyes.
