I took my little sister to the next room and asked her what was up with her. She told me that she didn't want to lose her best friend and how she love it here, when she told me that I knew that's exactly how I am feeling right now. I understand her feelings more than anyone because that's how I feel as well.
" I really love it here, I don't want leave " she kept repeating it over and over again
" I understand how you feel but think about it this the first time seeing my mom this happy. You can't only this about yourself Kate now can you? " I tell her
" You are right, it's not always about me, maybe I shouldn't overact, how stupid am I " she says with a fake smile
I can tell she is still crying from inside but she trying to play it cool. I hate looking at her this way but I try to cheer her up.
" Now go and apologize to them, both mom and dad. After that I will buy you some ice cream " I tell her while rubbing her back
She thank me and hug me. I watch her walk out and apologize. I wished I could do the same but I had no reason to be sorry. I just wanted to stay in my room and cry all day but I didn't want to make it worser than what my little sister did it's enough for today . So I kept it to myself .
20 minutes later
My mom asked us to gather up, so we did. She was in a good mood again, and I was relieved to see her that way.
" So when should we start shopping " she said with full energy and excitement
"I guess tomorrow will be great" my oldest sister said clapping her hands
"Don't you think we should divide up since we are a big family?" dad said with smiling on his face
"That's a great idea honey" mom replies
"So Lucy, Sara, and Megean are this week, and Dalia, Kate, Lulu and Jordan are next week" mom said
And we all agree. And I know what your thinking "wooow that is a big family " yes we are really big family. I have 5 sisters including me 6 and 1 brother he is they youngest. And no am not the oldest, I am in between I have 3 older than me and 3 younger than me. And trust me it sucks to be in my place.
