CHAPTER 3

2 weeks later

My morning starts with a cup of coffee and some delicious Poha made by Ma .

Later on I am done getting ready for work and after saying good bye to my parents me and Di head to work .

Di is a school teacher and as her school comes on my way to office so she is dropping me off . But she can't come to pick me up as we get off work at different hours .

And our spare car is in servicing so until it comes back Di is dropping me off and I take an uber back home .

"So do you have any plans after you get off work?",Di asks as soon as we are seated in her car .

"Nope I don't why do you ask?",I ask her .

"Was planning to go somewhere out with you and Ankit ",she says as she starts to drive .

"You both go on a date why take me?",I ask .

"It's just it's been a long time since the three of us went out together",she says .

"We went together last month that's not long...",I say .

"For me it is and moreover me and Ankit go on plenty dates and also you haven't been too mall and other places where we used to go frequently in ages",Di says .

"You are right ..okay then let's go today somewhere also few weeks ago I went to really nice cafe with my friends near my office we could go there",I tell her .

"Sounds good I will ask Ankit about it",She says and the whole drive to my office we talk about random things .

"Thankyou Di for dropping me off",I thank Aarya di and she passes me a smile which I return .

"No thankyou's remember?",She says raising her eyebrows .

"Yes I remember",I say smiling at her .

"I will pick you up after work and I will tell Ma that we both are going out today",she says .

"Okay and come at 6 pm only not before that",I say .

"Yes , Yes don't worry I won't",she says .

After waving her a goodbye I head inside with some files in my hand which our department head had given me .

While walking I checked if I had all the 4 files which were given to me yesterday and that's when someone bumped into me making the files in my hand fall .

Quickly bending down I collected the files and some papers which came out of the file and another hand appeared infront of me helping me with the files and paper .

I was too busy thinking what if I put wrong papers in wrong file that I didn't noticed who the person bumped into me was and helped me pick up the files .

"I am sorry I didn't noticed someone walking infront of me as I was checking an important email",a man says .

I finally looked up at him and my breath hitched .

Infront of me was standing none other than Rahul Khanna my future boss .

And this man looked more handsome in close .

Gosh Kiara stop thinking how handsome he is this is not the time to think that .

"I am sorry sir I should have noticed someone coming too",I apolozise .

Thank god I didn't stutter .

"You don't have too it wasn't your fault and moreover you wouldn't have known someone coming from behind",he says .
