CHAPTER 4

A month passed quickly while working in the Khanna industries .
Right now I was genuingly content and happy with how my life was going .

Get up , go to work , after work spent some happy time with with family , eat , sleep and repeat . It might be a normal routine but I loved it .

And I was getting more close to Piyush , Mehek , Diya , Shobit .

I was happy I finally had friends who are genuingly enjoying being friends with me .

Currently I was working when our head of department came inside followed by non other than Rahul Khanna and Aashna Khanna making everyone immediately stand up .

"Everyone from next week onwards Mr. Rahul Khanna and Miss. Aashna Khanna will work with us for the next 3 months . Like Mr. Rajesh announced last month they both will work in each department before taking over as the CEO to get to know the company well . So it is going to start with our Human resource department . I hope everyone will co-perate ",Our department head Priyanka announced .

The sibling duo looked around our department but Mr. Rahul's eyes stopped roaming when he noticed me . I think he recognises me and gives me a nod and breaks our few seconds of eye contact .

"Does this means we won't be able to talk in between like we always do other than the work stuff?",Diya whose table was on my right hand side asks me .

"You know like we need to maintain the decorem while working as our future bosses will also be there?",she asks .

"Not sure ...though other's don't talk at all except work here so I guess we will do that",I say .

"We shouldn't think about whether we can talk or not we should focus on our work . Work is more important than talking",I say .

"You are right let's focus on work",she says .

And just like announced a week later Mr. Rahul and Miss. Aashna joined us for the next 3 months .

We were working while both of them were doing introductions like they were told to do .

And not soon enough both of them reached near my , Diya , Mehek , Shobit and Piyush's table .

The five of us got up .

"Hello myself Aashna Khanna",Miss . Aashna says forwarding her hand for a shake . The 5 of us shook hands with her .

"Myself Rahul Khanna",Mr.Rahul says forwarding his hand too and he started to shake hands with us .
It was my turn at the last . He forwarded his hand and I took it quickly . Our hands stayed like that longer than needed and he made a quick eye contact with me before releasing our hands and sliding them inside his pant pockets .

I felt something in my stomach just thinking about what happened when we shook hands .

This was the second time I was seeing him close and gosh he looked even more handsome today .

Kiara stop gushing about how handsome he is right now you need to focus .

My inner voice says and it was right I need to focus .

"We look forward to work with you",the siblings duo says together .

"We look forward to it too",the 5 of us say together and then the duo leaves our tables and goes to meet the rest of the people .

"Wait a minute why their are 2 more chairs and table added ?",Mehek asks in a low voice after we come back from lunch .
