"That was amazing! If we ever need another singer in our band were differently coming to you" Calum clapped
"Yea, I like you. By the way I'm Ashton" he smiled
"Nice to meet you" I smiled back
"She's alright" Luke smirked
"Don't mind him, you want to sit with us at lunch? Oh and I'm Michael he waved
"No she doesn't she's not-" Luke started to say but I cut him off
"I would love to thank you" I couldn't help it I was going to say no but When Luke started to say that I couldn't help myself.
"What?" Luke's jaw dropped
"Great see you then" Ashton smiled
"Ok class enough chatter" Ms.Duffleberg interrupted
"You have a assignment do in a 2 months, you need to wright a song about your feelings or something close to you"
After that the Bell rung and it was time for math.
"Alex? did you forget about me?" Megan laughed catching up with me
"Oh uh sorry, so uh will you sit at lunch with me with the boys?"
"Nervous?"
"Yea kinda" I fiddled my hands only because of luke
"Yea no problem"
We got in class and of course Luke was there and his friend Ashton.
"Hey!" Ashton yelled tackling me into a hug
"Oh we're at the hugging stage already?" I laughed
"Uh duh?" We laughed
He dragged me to the back next to Luke and I mentally roled my eyes but I dragged Megan with me.
"Uh great" Luke rolled his eyes
"I'm not to stoked about it either" I said in more of a whisper tone
Class started pretty quick. While the teacher was explaining some problem luke dropped his pencil and was struggling to pick it up. I let out a laugh and helped him get it.
"Here you go" I handed it to him still smiling
" I didn't need your help" he huffed and my smiled faded
"I was just trying to hel-"
"I said I didn't need it" he snapped
"Luke, mate come down"ashton snapped back
He turned to me "sorry I didn't me-"
"Fuck off" I snapped
I looked and the class including the teacher was looking
"Sorry Mr.Mathews"
He continued. After the bell rung it was time for lunch and I was starving. I bought two pizzas and me and Megan sat down at the table with the boys.
"I missed you!" Michael yelled
"No I missed her!" Calum argued with Michael
"Guys! It was one class period without me" I laughed
"so there's this one girl in my English class and she's so smart I swear I don't think she's ever done anything wrong I mean she's a complete Good girl" Calum spoke making funny faces while explaining it.
I let out a laughed
"What?" Michael looked confused
"I don't agree with that"
"And whys that?" Luke rolled his eyes
"Well good girls are just bad girls that haven't been caught" I shrugged taking a bite of one of my pizzas
I looked up and everyone was shocked even Luke.
"What?"
"That is Jenius!" Michael yelled
"How do you know" Luke looked confused
"I just do" I smirked
"Ohhhh we have a bad girl sitting with us" Ashton poked me teasing me
"I like that" Calum winked
"Your gross" Luke spoke
"What she's attractive and you can't say she isn't" Calum said and Luke just looked away
I couldn't help but blush
"Awe is my little Alex blushing" Megan poked me with her elbow
"No" I tried to hide my face while everyone awed
After school I started to walk home when a car pulled next to me
"You want a ride?" A familiar voice asked and to my surprise it was Luke
"I'm not suppose to talk to strangers" I raised a eyebrow
"I'm not a stranger" he smirked "do you want a ride or no because I'm kinda holding up a line" I looked behind us and he was right so I jumped in.
"Thanks" I gave a smile
"No problem"
"I don't understand you" I just blurted it out without meaning to
"What do you mean?"
"One minute your nice then you hate me then your nice again" I shrugged
"I don't hate you I just...." He trailed off deciding not to finished
"Oh! this is my song" I turned up the radio
"American idiot?" He asked in confusion but then it turned into a smiled when I started dancing and singing.
I looked over and he was doing it with me. I started laughing.
When it was over we were about at my house. (of course me showing him the way)
"You know your pretty fun to hang out with maybe we could be friends" I smiled
And just like that he changed again.
"No we can't"
"But I thought we were-"
"Well we weren't. Were at your house"
I sat there for a second confusion obvious in my face.
"Are you gonna get out?" He looked away
"Oh yea, sorry" I got out
I don't understand him but I really want to. But how do you get through to someone who hates you?"
Luke's Prov~
Why did I do that? I hit the steering wheel. I just don't understand these feelings but i know it going to end bad. I started on my song and sung a couple lines after I got home.
. "I don't even like you why'd you have to go and make me feel this way. And I don't understand what's happened I keep saying things I never say" I sung and made my way to the chorus "so tell me where your hiding your voodoo doll cause I can't control myself, and I don't wanna stay, wanna run away but I'm trapped under your spell. And it hurts in my head,and my heart, and my chest, and and I'm having trouble catching my breathe. Ohhhhhhh ohhhh won't you please stop loving me too death"
That all I have so far. I smiled at my accomplishment.
"So is that for choir?" I heard Calum and jumped
"Shit Calum you scared me!" I yelled
Calum laughed "so who's that about?"
"What do you mean?" I asked even though I knew
"Were suppose to write about our feeling so who's that about?"
"Nobody" I shrugged
"Ok so your gonna make me guess? Alex?"
"What?" Not shocked that he would consider her, I was shocked that he guessed right on the fist try.
"I know you like her..."
"How?" I wasn't gonna deny it to one of my best friends
"You've never acted like this before I mean your being a real asshole to her but when she's not looking your staring at her with a smile"
I smiled just thinking about it.
"Yea I've never felt like this before and I'm not sure what to do and to be honest I'm scared"
"Ik but maybe it's good for you"
"Maybe but that means I have to tell Mandy to leave me alone"
"You still hang out with her?" Calum raised an eyebrow
"No only for sex but she can't ever seem to get the hint that I'm not interested"
"Oh alright well then it's settled in a few days you'll try to start over with Alex until then don't say anything stupid" he pointed
A finger at me
"No promises" I said as he climbed out the window "by the way we have a front door!" I yelled
"I know!" I heard him yell back.
After that I shut the window and climbed in bed.
Tomorrow i start with baby steps.
Alex's Prov~
I woke up and got ready for school the same way I do every day. I walked down to the kitchen and grabbed an apple. Mom and dad were already gone off to work or in moms case shopping to make our house a little more homelier. When I got to school I found Megan and we walked to my locker.
"So do you know what your songs gonna be about?" She asked making conversation
"No clue I haven't even gave it any thought. You?" I said closing my locker
"Nope"
As we were walking someone bumped into me nocking my stuff down.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry" I looked up to see luke looking pissed off
"Watch were your going damn" he yelled making the people around us look
I bent down to get my books and suddenly luke bent down to help.
"Oh gosh I'm sorry ale-"
"Leave me alone, your such an ass" I yelled standing up and walking away
I think I heard him mutter a "damn it" but i didn't care.
After that I went to choir with Megan.
"Alex!" Ashton yelled tackling me but this time to the floor
"Ashton, damn it could you be a little more suddle" I laughed
"Need help?" A hand popped out of nowhere, I almost took it until I realized it was Luke's.
"I don't need your help" I snapped thinking about the time I tried to help him
"I was just trying to help you damn Alex" he took his hand back with attitude
When he turned around and after I stood up I flipped him off. The whole class started to laugh which made luke whip around real fast glaring at me.
"What'd you do now?" He snarled at me
"Oh only this" I stuck up my finger again
"Yea well your not the only person that has that finger" he held up both of his middle fingers
"Ah fuck off" I rolled my eyes
"Both of you go to the office!" I herd a very know voice
Me and Luke gave a wide eyes glance to each other and I slowly turned around
"Oh heeeeyyy Mrs.Duffleberg" I smiled an oh fuck I'm caught smile.
"Office both of you" she gave a stern look and pointed to the door
I slumped down and walk out the door luke following unbothered behind me.
"Why do you seem so cool about this" I asked
"Well this isn't my first time. I should be able to get us out of this fairly easy. Me and the principle are pretty close." He smirked
When we got there the older women I met yesterday was there.
"Hey marry is he in his office?" Luke asked so causally
"In trouble again Luke?" She shook her head "yea he's in there"
I followed Luke into the principals office.
"Hey uncle Dan" he walked over to the coffee area and started making him a cup.
UNCLE!!! The principal is his uncle!!! What???
"Want any?" He turned looking at me
"Uh no thanks" I raised my eyebrows
"Your loss he shrugged"
"So what you'd do today and now your bringing in people?"
"Well I'm sure you've already got the phone call so you should know" he smirked
I rolled my eyes at luke and sat down "I'm sorry sir this will not happen again" I apologized as Luke sat next to me in the other chair.
Luke and his uncle looked at each other and started laughing.
"Obviously you've only known Luke for two days and he's already got you in here. This will probably not be the last time either, but you seem like a good kid so I'll let you go with a warning" he smiled
"Oh thank you so much" I smiled back
"Now let's talk about all the trouble you've had with Luke" he leaned in
"Oh yes he is so irresponsible and-" I got cut off by Luke
"Oh well actually we have to leave" Luke said grabbing my wrist and dragging me toward the door "bye uncle Dan"
"Bye nice to meet you" I yelled while getting pulled though the door
"You too" I heard him say back slightly
"Luke you can let go of me now" I realized he was still holding onto my wrist
"Oh yea sorry" he let go
"Thanks"
The walk back to choir was quit and awkward. But when we got in there Mrs.Duffleberg was in the middle of telling the class something but she stopped long enough to let us get in and sit down.
"Now like I was saying, today I am giving you time to work on your song. You may get into groups or you may work by yourself." As soon as she said that Luke got into a group with the boys and him and Calum were talking about a song he made.
In the mean time I had to think of one for me. Well she said to wright about how we feel and honestly I don't let people know this a lot but I'm a pretty insecure person. People always say to love yourself even your flaws but for me it's not that easy. So I started my song.

That was all I had for now but I didn't have much time considering the trouble I got into with Luke.
After choir me and Megan walked to math.
"So are we still sitting with them at lunch?"
"Yes, I'm not letting Luke ruin school for me"
"Alex!" Ashton ran at me
"No,no,no,no,no. Not again Ashton!" I yelled fixing to run out the door when I ran into someone.
"Oh sorry" I laughed looking up until I saw it was Luke
"Never mind" I said in a mummer
"No sorry it was my fault" he scratched the back of his neck
"What?" I said apparently louder than I meant to "or I mean ok"
I turned around and Ashton and Megan looked confused so I just shrugged and walked to my desk.
"Soooo no hug?" Ashton asked
"Really ash?" I rolled my eyes
"Yes I have a nick name!" He yelled
That month went by pretty much the same between me and Luke. One minute he was nice and the next he was a complete ass so I ignored him for a couple days and then things would go back to normal. I just don't understand this boy, but is that what makes me want to try and figure him out?
