chapter 6

I woke up and got ready. I curled my hair putting the front pieces in the back and doing my makeup.then I put on a white sweat shirt and legging. I put my fuzzy boots on and grabbed my things and went out the door. When I stepped out of my house a car was there. The car window rolled down and I let out a chuckle. How did I not recognize his car.
"What are you doing here luke? "
"I thought I'd be friendly" he smiled
" you friendly to me? Yea right" I rolled my eyes
"Just get in" he said rolling up the window
I hesitated for a minute but got in any ways.
"Can I have your number?" He asked looking at but but quickly looking back at the road
"Why? So you can snap at me over text?"
" No. Sorry about that. please! "
"Ugh okay hand me your phone"
He gave me his phone and I put my number in it and my name as Alex
I gave it back and when he looked at it he smirked. We finally got to school and Megan walked me to my locker.
" So what's new?" She asked smiling
"Well luke asked for my phone number" I shrugged
Megans face turned to confusion "did you give it to him"
"Yea..."
" What why yall hated each other all this month" she reminded me
"Yea but I wanna at least stop hating each other" I said closing my locker
We walked to choir and dropped the subject
While i was sitting listening to the teacher my phone vibrated. I looked up to see luke smiling at me so I changed hips name to Luke and texted back (conversation is In the picture but if you can't see it I'll type it)
Luke: hey
Me: hi... so why did you want my number?
Luke: cant a person just want to talk lol
Me: not you. you dont like me remeber?
Luke: Alex it's not that I dont like you. Im sorry I shouldnt of treated you the way I did and I can't tell you why I acted the way I did... I want to be friends with you. you wont regreat it. please...
Me: ugh. fine but no more snapping off on me okay? u better prove yourself hemmings
Luke : okay and I will I promise you that!
I looked up at luke and he was smiling. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but smile.
My phone went off again. I ignored it but then it started blowing up so I hurried up and looked at my phone. It was twitter so i looked.

I looked up laughing. All the boys were constraiting really hard. I looked back at my phone and there were two more tweets.

I looked up and Calum winked at me. I couldn't help but blush. Luke didn't seem so happy though.
I got another text from Luke.
Luke: don't make any plans tomorrow!
Me: why....
Luke: because there's a party tomorrow and your coming!
Me: Idk luke....
Me: jk I'm totally down for that
Luke: gosh I thought you were serious lol good I'll probably pick you up at nine so the party should already be in full swing when we get there.
Me: okai ^_^
We didn't really do much in my first two classes because it is Friday. But lunch came and I was so happy. I bought a buger and two things of fries and a snapple.
" dang you like too eat" Luke laughed sitting beside me
"Your just now noticing" Ashton said making everyone laugh
"Shut up I'm hungry" I said in a baby like tone
"Awe" everyone cooed
"What's going on?" Megan asked sitting down in front of me
"Oh thank goodness they're being mean" I pouted
"Suck it up" she shrugged and everyone laughed as I glared at her
I just put my hand on my cheek and continued eating.
"Awe Ali boo do you need a hug" Calum asked with a wink
"I think somethings wrong with your eye" I acted concerned once again making everyone laugh
While I was eating luke stole one of my fries. I gasped while looking at him.
"how could you. That could of been the best fry ever" I smacked his arm
"you want it back?" He asked opening his mouth and showing me his food
"Ew. Uh you know what acually you can keep it" I said in disgust
"Are you still coming over for band practice? " Ashton asked me
"Uh yes" I chuckled
"Ummm what about me?" Megan asked raising an eyebrow
" Well of course" Ashton laughed
After school me and Megan started heading to Luke's house. Half way there we realized we didn't know how to get to Luke's house so I had to call him. We finally got there and I went to knock but Megan just walked in.
"Megan!" I yelled
"Yes?"
"you can't just do that!" I said but she wasn't listening to me. " Ugh never mind"
We heard music coming from the basement so we walked down there. They stopped once they saw us.
" Oh thank goodness you let yourself in because we wouldn't of done it" Michael laughed
"see!" Megan yelled causing me to roll my eyes
Everyone kinda just stood there for awhile until I spoke up.
"Are you guys going to play something? " I asked
" Oh yea" Luke said
"Your going to like this one Alex we based it off of one of your sayings" Aston smirked
"Ohh?" I asked
They started playing a song which Seemed to be called good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught.
I laughed "I love it" I clapped when it ended
"I thought you would" Luke smirked but then relization came across his face.
"Or I mean we" he corrected his self and looked down "you guys are great." Megan clapped
"You wanna sing something with us alex?" Luke asked
"Uh sure" I shrugged
We did she looks so perfect since it was already one of their songs. I did the begging then it was Luke's turn.
" let's get out, let's get out cause this dead beat towns only here just to keep us down" while singing luke started looking at me "while I was out I found myself alone just thinking if I showed up with a plane ticket and a Shiney Dimond ring with your name on it would you wanna run away too cause all I really want is you!"
I noticed we were just starting at each other so I looked away. After the song ended I was tired.
"Guys I'm tired I'm going home."
Everyone hugged me and luke was just standing there awkward.
I started dancing and wiggling my arms "commmeee onnn I know yoouuu waaannnt onne"
He laughed and hugged me bye.
"See you tomorrow beautiful" he whispered
I felt my heart race and my stomach felt all weird like. I've never felt this way around him or really anyone. What is this? I mean I couldn't possibly like him. No of course not.
"Wouldn't miss it lukey" I pinched his cheeks and we smiled
After that Megan and me went to my house then i got my shower and layed down in bed. Soon after I got a text.
Luke : goodnight princess
Me: goodnight lukey
~
"Ow" I mumbled rubbing my head because Megan knocked me off my bed
I looked at my phone and it was 11:30. I threw a pillow at Megan.
"What!" She growled
"Yooou waannnaaa gooo shooppiiinng?" I asked and she jumped up
"Yes!"
"Good because I need something to wear to a party"
"wait your going to a party and you didn't tell me!" She yelled throwing the pillow back at me
"Luke invited me" I shrugged standing up
"Well I'm going"
"Well Luke's picking me up"
"Wait is this a date" she started wiggling her eyebrows
"No we're just going as friends" I laughed
I got my clothes and took a shower. I put on some light skinny jeans, a black tank, and a red flannel. After I was done curling the bottom of my hair and putting on makeup on and megan was done we left to go to the mall.
"where's your parents?" Megan asked while driving
"Dads at work and mom.... well I don't really know" I shrugged
We got there and went in the first store we saw. After looking around we realized this was an old women store.
" I don't think I'm going to find a party outfit here" I laughed.
" Yea same" Megan laughed to
We left and went into a different store.
"How about this one" she held up a dress
"Megan that's completely trashy, you can see through it" I shook my head
"Parties are trashy alex get use to it"
I laughed and kept looking.
"How about these?" I held up a black leather skirt and a grey tied up tank.
" Oh my gosh that would look so hot on me!"her eyes widened
"Oh uh yea you'd look great in it" I was kinda saddened until a wicked smile went over her face.
" chill i'm joking , you should totally get that" she laughed
I rolled my eyes and helped her look for one.
" how about these blue jean shorts" I shrugged
"That's perfect. I'll wear it with this shirt" she smiled holding up a grey shirt with the middle really low.
"Wow well okay" I said staring at it
We checked out. I looked at the time and it was 2:05.
"You wanna get something to eat?" I asked "Sure,like what?" She shrugged texting on her phone
Probably ash I'm pretty positive they have a thing for each other.
"Pizza?"
" sounds amazing" she typed one last thing in her phone then looked up at me
We went up to the pizza place and I started to order.
"One small pep-" I started but Megan cut me off
"Acually make that one large pepperoni"
I looked at her confused "What I'm hungry" she smiled
"You stand here and I'll go get us a seat" she said and walked away
"Your such a good friend" I yelled and turned to wait for our pizza
The boy handed me our pizza and I gave a quick thank you. As I turned around i saw the boys all gathering in at our table. I walked over and grabbed the seat next to Luke.
"So this is what you were texting about" I eyed her for the answer
"I don't know what you're talking about" she smirked
" What's wrong didn't you miss us?" Luke smirked wrapping his arm around me
I shook my head and laughed
"So we went shopping for the party tonight and may I just say we are going to look so ho-"
"Megan!" I yelled and face palmer myself
Everyone started to laugh.
We hung out in the mall until it was 7:12 then the boys went home to get ready and so did we.
"So what's with you and luke?" Megan asked
"What do you mean?" I said grabbing my clothes
"I mean he's not a jerk to you anymore, it's weird"
"Yea we talked about it and were trying to be friends"
"Oh okay" she said dropping the subject
It is kinda weird, now that we're trying to be friends I acually feel really comfortable around him like I can be myself. It's like the day at the park when I fist met him, he's that guy again and hopefully he'll stay that guy. I think maybe just maybe I can start to trust him.
Anyways time to get ready for the party.
