Kallen Kaslana hated one thing in this world. Reinhardt Crozzo, her childhood friend and captain of the Fire moth Valkyrie squad she was a part of, alongside her beloved Sakura and Sakura's cousin, Kasumi. She hated him with every fiber of her being...
"Stop ignoring me!" Whined the Kaslana as she poked the young man's cheek.
Reinhardt was buried in a stack of paperwork and was busy to the point that he often forgot to eat or acknowledge the presence of the members of their squad. As of now, her efforts were futile as the young man flowed through each document, signing them or setting them aside. Seeing this, a pout appeared on Kallen's face as she pinched his ear-
"Kallen," Sakura said, entering the room with a tray containing some coffee and snacks. "Stop bothering, Reinhardt-Taichou." Scolded by her beloved, Kallen seemingly wilted and reluctantly moved away from the working young man.
"But, Sakura..." She whined, "Rein promised me that he would spend a day with me last night,"
"Kallen, we both know Reinhardt is always busy," Sakura said gently setting down the tray on a nearby table. "Come on, we have the day off. Reinhardt needs to focus."
While she never wanted to be, Kallen reluctantly followed her beloved. Once she exited the door, she turned around and looked at her childhood friend alone in the room. Has the distance between them grown so much? While the squad was free to spend their day the way they want, Reinhardt was slaving away.
"Not gonna spend time away from your paperwork?" A young woman with pink hair and sharp ears asked the young man. Pouting as she received no reply, the young woman pressed herself on his back, looking over his shoulder at the paperwork. "Captain Rein~"
'This is hell.' Reinhardt thought. It has been ten years since he became a captain to provide for his beloved baby brothers. While he considered himself blessed with the fact that he essentially had a harem along with his childhood friend, numerous events and headaches made him wish to only retire as soon as possible. It was not his fault that he walked in on Kallen and Sakura in the middle of a make-out session and he only checked up on her because he knew she hated thunderstorms.
He was branded as a pervert for a month and it stuck... So, he busied himself with work, work, and work. Oddly enough, he has been sending resignation or retirement letters for the overseer every week for the last five years and the letters either get rejected, destroyed, or go missing.
Thankfully, there was one Valkyrie that gave him the benefit of the doubt and only got closer as time went by. Elysia, Fire Moth's second-in-command and according to her, his personal secretary (Self-appointed). She was also the only one aware of his plans to retire early and go back to living with his baby brothers and she supports her decision.
"I'm busy, Go play with someone else," The young man said but his secretary pouted and jumped on his lap.
"No~ I wanna spend the rest of the day with captain~," Elysia said with a grin as she sat on his lap comfortably using him as a chair.
"I have errands to do after this," Reinhardt told her, wanting to finish his job early but Elysia turned around from her position and latched onto him like a Koala.
"Then carry me!" Whined the pink-haired elf as she comfortably hugged him. The captain could only sigh as he continued with his work as years of experience being bothered or inconvenienced by others allowed him to work.
Outside of the room, Rin, Sakura's little sister, shivered and planned to find more supplies to store in the bunkers she knew of.

Rex Crozzo sat on a chair by himself while dressed in a school uniform. He was all alone in a single classroom. Kiana, as expected of the perverted white tuna cat, was busy hounding Mei, leaving him, her childhood friend, alone. Thankfully, he was alone and not in prison as the result of numerous misunderstandings.
Without Kiana, his life was quiet and simple. He can rest and relax all he wants. He said nothing as he looked around his room and noticed a rather horrifying sight. It was a wild Kiana Kaslana peeking from in front of his desk and looking at him.
Suddenly, Rex woke up from his sleep and sighed in relief, he was safe and nothing more will happen to him for the time being. He still had to simp for Kiana, a lot.

Bianka observed her captain from the immortal blades, Reve Crozzo, her childhood friend. Unlike her cousin and sister, she would not beat around the bush and go on the offensive. She knew his strengths, his weaknesses, and more.
She had prepared for this moment for a month now.
"Reve, we are going on a date later."
"Huh? Bianka?"
"We are going on a date later." The strongest Valkyrie said without breaking her stoic facade. Only after she was back in her room that she held her burning cheeks and screamed in delight into her pillow while kicking her legs. Step 12 out of 100 complete.
