Rex said nothing as he found himself kidnapped by Kiana., 

How did this happen?

"Rex.... hug..." She drunkenly groaned out while nuzzling her smaller form against his. hey were in a party and Kinaa snatched a bottle of alcohol and before Rex could stop her, she downed it all in one go. 

And now, he was stuck trying to take care of her. 

He said nothing as he found her leaning in and nuzzling her head on the crook of his neck. She smelled nice. 

Okay, focus! Remember why you are here! not to simp but take back Elmo!

"Do... do you hate me...?" 

Wait... what? 

"Sorry..." She whispered and her grip tightened around his body. 

"huh?"

"We don't hang out anymore..." She said as she rested her head on his shoulder, "You're always so busy now..." 

"I..."

"And... you're always with those girls..." 

"Big sis Ely?" 

"Hmmph!" 

"You're mine!" She said angrily, "She already has big bro Rein." Pouting, Kiana pressed her face on his chest while pouting. 

"Kiana..."

"I... I just don't want us to end up like Big Bro Rein and Big sis Kal." 

Reinhardt and Kallen used to be the best of friends but time separated them even if they now live together. It was quite sad.

Speaking of which. 

"Reinhardt drafted another letter." Mobius, the green snake, said as she showed them a printed copy of Reinhardt's resignation letter. 

"Again, that's the nth time we had to destroy this year." Said the pink vixen, a.k.a. Sakura with Kallen hugging her from behind with a pout and glare on her face aimed at the letter

"Hehe, why not just let captain, retire," said the magician, Vill-V. Suddenly, glares from a lot focused on her. "Come on, Captain has been sending these things for five years now! He needs to rest!" 

"Hmm, nope!" Kallen, the white crow, immediately denied it. "Reinhardt will be the only captain that Fire Moth will have." 

"Kallen, be reasonable, captain already put up with us for ten years and the first 5 were not the best. I'm honestly surprised he did not quit or retire early." Vill-V told her 

"He did," Sakura said, earning looks from the room's occupants. "It was around 8 years ago, he asked Elysia if it would be best if he left." 

"Oh, carry on," Mobius said with a smile, yet her eyes were narrowed in a way similar to a snake. 

"Elysia convinced him to stay and give us more time, but if he decided to, then she would support and follow him whatever choice he make," Sakura said before setting her cup of tea. 

"Then why did you introduce Rin to captain, six years ago?" Mobius asked, curiously looking at the pink fox. 

"He... He got into a fight with Kallen," Hearing her name, the said young woman flinched before looking down in shame. "He drafted a letter and I introduced Rin to him so we can buy enough time for him to cool down."

"Why do we even keep, the captain here?" Said the newcomer, the brown cat, Pardofelis, dressed in one of Reinhardt's old uniforms he gave to her. "Rein should be allowed to retire and rest."

"He's my guinea pig and precious experiment," Mobius said without any hint of shame or regret. "I do not like having my  experiments stolen or far away from me." The green snake finished with a smile. 

"While I'm not as close with the captain as Elysia." A pout formed on Kallen's face. "I respect him a lot. I agree that we should let him retire... but if some of my rival companies think they could take my primary investor..." 

"Rein is a good man," Sakura said as red covered her face. "He often babysits Rin and he now took her in as his official apprentice." 

"Reinhardt is my best friend." 

"Really, nya?" Pardofelis cowered behind a pillar and covered her head when a murderous glare from Kallen was aimed at her. 

"I just want us to be like when we were younger and being the captain is the only way I could greet him without it being awkward." She said as she remembered the fights they had and how hard it was for her to talk with him if he was not in his captain mode.
