It was a lovely Saturday morning.

After a banger of a late-night party with Fromis_9 after celebrating their recent music show wins, the early moment felt like a blessing. No shouting or loud singing from Bbiyoungz, weeping from Saerom & Seoyeon, nor lecturing from Jiheon and Jisun. Just pure silence with a side of birds chirping on the tree next to the window.

Y/n was an early bird regardless of when he slept, a skill he acquired after getting accustomed to the uni lifestyle. The party ended at 2, but the young manager woke up at 6:30 to at least sort out the schedules for the girls and his uni work. Usually, he preferred working at night as he could concentrate better during that time than in the early morning. But this morning might be an anomaly.

"Let's see...Hayoung and Jiwon will have their Lee Mujin Service coming up soon...Jisun and Chaeyoung will have another show with JaeJae....sht, that's in one day. My driving skill ain't that good..." Y/n scratched his head.

After 30 minutes of sorting out the day, he put the laptop aside and made himself a warm cup of instant coffee. After blowing the liquid to cool it down, he sipped a bit to let the flavour coat the inside of his mouth. Feeling content with the taste, he walked to the sofa and resumed working.

Managing both his uni life and managing life was rather tough, but he enjoyed it nonetheless. One, at least he worked for his family and himself, saving enough money to hopefully have a banger of a vacation with them—two, to keep hanging out with a certain childhood friend of his.

Speaking of her, it sounded like she was rushing out into the living room, sliding along the wooden floor with her slippers.

"THERE'S A KISSING SCENE TODAY!!!"

After hearing the outrageous sentence from her, Y/n immediately spurted out the coffee he was drinking. After collecting himself from choking, he turned around and looked at her bewildered.

"Baek Jiheon, what the actual...Scrap that, why do you sound so excited?" He pointed at Jiheon whose cheeks won't stop going up from the wide smile. "Also, where's my hello?"

"None, obviously." Jiheon put out her tongue, teasing the young manager. "Business Proposal has a new episode today!"

Hearing his favorite ongoing drama's name, Y/n jolted up. "Wait, legit?"

Jiheon vigorously nodded. "Yea!"

After throwing the laptop to the corner (he didn't, he treasured his little beast too much), he gestured Jiheon to sit next to him as he navigated through Netflix, looking for the new episode to watch. True to Jiheon's word, there was a new episode.

As the episode went on, Y/n went up and grab her a cup of water to refresh herself as she has just woken up. Jiheon thanked him before down the whole cup quickly, her eyes glued to the TV.

"Gosh, after the second ship's kissing, I don't know how are they gonna top it off." Jiheon questioned. Y/n could only look at her blankly.

"...you are getting too impure, Jiheon."

"What do you mean?"

"Why is the first thing in the morning you thought was 'kissing'?"

"Why not? I'm 20 years old." Jiheon huffed her chest proudly. "I am at that age to experience love and kissing."
