To put it out there, never ever use alcohol as a coping mechanism after a breakup.

It was a phrase that Y/n here should've listened to before blindly charging into a bar and wasting his/her savings on the most expensive bottles on the house. However, this time it could be slightly justified with the situation upon his/her hand. Today could've been a jolly day where he/she could take out his/her girlfriend, Saerom, out to a nice dinner after a recent promotion at his/her workplace.

Well, that plan was scrapped after witnessing an adultery moment between Saerom and another person. Even worse, right on the bed that both Y/n and Saerom had shared for the past 3 years.

The moment was still haunting his/her brain even kicking both of them out and leaving the room for a moment. Even alcohol wasn't helping. He thought what was life anymore without her now that he/she saw that side of Saerom? All of these thoughts lingered around while he was wailing in his/her arms, disregarding the surroundings. No answers popped out to give a solution to this nightmare of his/hers.

Well, there was one.

"Huh? Y/n?" A familiar voice made Y/n put his head up. He/she didn't expect her to be here despite being a frequent customer.

"*sniff* S-Seoyeon?" Y/n wiped his/her tears. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm working, duh." She replied as she wiped the washed glasses clean. "Can't you see my uniform?"

"I-I've never seen you here as a bartender, though." Y/n collected himself/herself and finally stopped crying.

"She just joined recently." The current bartender, Chaeyoung, replied. "Sounds like you know her, though?"

"Uh, yea...we're groupmates for most of our university career. Now, we're good friends as well" Hearing that made Chaeyoung got surprised.

"Damn, small world, indeed. Anyway, my shift is done. Enjoy the shift, Seoyeon-unnie." Seoyeon nodded. Chaeyoung then turned to Y/n. "She just joined but she made far better cocktails than all of us, to be real with you. Especially Starry Night."

"Starry Night? What's that?"

"Ask the maker, duh." Chaeyoung sarcastically replied. "Im'ma yeet off now. Bye!" She waved off before going to the back door, leaving Seoyeon and Y/n at the bar.

"So.....it looks like you had about 3 bottles. Holy crap, the expensive one as well." Seoyeon was taken back at the familiar labels on the bottles. "What the hell happened, man? You're not even drunk!"

"....either my tolerance is at its highest or I just blindly ordered it without checking the alcohol percentage."

"....They have lower than 1 percent." Seoyeon deadpanned. Hearing that made Y/n facepalmed before giving out a depressing laugh.

"Gosh, I'm so blind by everything." Y/n sighed.

"Did something happen?" The curiosity got the cat as Seoyeon prepared some kind of drink.

"Ah yea, do you remember Saerom?"

"The girl that hangs out with you all the time?" Y/n nodded.

"Yeah, she cheated on me today." Hearing that made Seoyeon gasp. Her hands halted every movement.
