I jolted awake from a nightmare: I was being put up for adoption and my new parents were horrible and hated me more than the crusty orphanage lady.
I shuttered before getting up and throwing my blond locks into an effortless messy bun because I'm just so quirky. I decide to put on a tiny bit of makeup because Saturday is the day most people get adopted and that was today. I put on eyeliner and mascara and lip gloss because my skin is already flawless because I'm so ugly. My blue orbs blink back at me in the mirror. I study myself: my skinny and curvy figure, my five foot body and perfect proportions. I'm hideous. No one will ever love me. I may as well run away and live in a cave with a wombat in Australia because I deserve nothing.
"Y/n! Someone's here to adopt you!" The crusty orphanage lady banged on my door.
"What?! I thought no one loved me!!!!!" I cried. Then I sang fight song by Rachel platten to calm me down while I walked down the stairs to the main room.
I sat in a chair while I waited for my new parents to come in.
"Just so you know, this is a little unconventional," Crusty Orphanage Lady said because at this point that was her name.
"Oh! O-o-ok." Then my friend kaerign pronounced Karen told me she wished she was getting adopted because the rats didn't like her anymore. We don't talk about kaerign.
Suddenly, the door burst open and there stood my new parents- erm- the people adopting me. I shot out of my seat and ran forward.
"Five seconds of summer?!"
