Sophie never expected this to happen
all those times when she thought about her future she never pictured this
not that she would want to have it any other way she smiled at the little bundle
what if i mess up she thought nervously internally panicking
she felt a strong reassuring arm around her should and she thankfully rested on it her eyes blurred with tears not just of sadness but joy and relief and also pride
she knew what dangers would come and she vowed to protect the little bundle with whatever it took she wouldn't let anything harm it
the arm around her squeezed reassuringly and she knew they were having the same thoughts
"i wont let anything happen" and Sophie really tried to believe it
but she knew trouble followed her and that's what she expected
