OK, so I came up with a theory. It's that The Hunger Games, Divergent and Maze Runner series are all connected.
Yup.
So, it all start with Hunger Games. After the revolution and everything is over, they need to give Democracy a try. Now say that it didn't work out, they need a new plan for order. Thus, they create an experiment, Divergent. They pick a random amount of people, genetically change their minds and stuff creating the different factions. BUT, they don't change all of the people's minds or not totally at least. These are the divergents. Now, skip ahead after when everyone leaves the walls of the place where Divergent took place. The remaining people try to restore order, put society back together. But it doesn't work. Wars and fights break out, then the solar flare. The Maze Runner. BOOSH.
