Honestly I was really never one to stand out. I always kept hidden and away. But Michael, he made me feel different. Made me stand out. It all started in high school. I was the new senior. I had to leave my friends and had to fly all the way from america to Australia for a stupid job promotion for my mom. Ever since the day my dad left it's been hard for our family. We all had to worked our asses off to get where we are now and still thats barley enough.
*first day of school*
"Come on Raven get up! Your brother is already waiting for you!" My mom yelled. I groaned, pulling the fluffy blue comforter off my head, and then I slipped out of my bed. I rushed to the bathroom, after doing my business. I grabbed a AC/DC crop top, and black skinny jeans. (A/N there's no uniform I just don't feel like having a uniform)
I ran down stair to see my brother Ashton twirling the car keys between his fingers.
He's a drummer, and I play guitar. We've uploaded a few videos on YouTube. I mean we're not that big but we get a few hundred views. He had his drum set in his van. I quickly grabbed my blue electric guitar and then grabbed the amp. we packed it into his car. i claimed into the front while he drove. it was only a 30 minute drive to school at least. When we made it to school. We looked at each other. I was so worried.
"It will be fine, don't worry about it Raven." He assured me. I nodded we grabbed our bags. I grabbed my guitar and amp. We both walked in. All of the conversations stopped as everyone looked at us. So we kept walking. I walked to my class. English, joy. I sat in the very back so that maybe i wouldn't be noticed back. Soon everyone piled in and looked at me. I was looking at my music book. I was going to learn a new song. Lego House- Ed Sheeran
It wasn't to hard. I felt someone sit by me. I looked up, seeing a boy with bleach blond hair. He was looking at what I was reading. He smiled when he realised what it was.
"I'm Michael. Michael Clifford." He stuck out his hand.
"I'm Raven. Raven Irwin" I said shaking his offered hand.
"Oh Ashton is your brother." I nodded, looks like Ashton is going to be popular. And I'm gonna be the person that's related to him. again.
"So you play guitar." I nodded again
"I'll have to introduce you to the guys. I'm in a band. And we need a drummer. Your brothers trying out but I bet you can be in it to. It would be so cool!"
"You're in a band! Me and ash we uploaded videos on YouTube. I've always wanted to be in a band! Did you tell Ashton?" I grinned from ear to ear. He chuckled lightly.
After classes I met Ashton outside he had 4 people surrounding him. One of them being Michael. I smiled and walked over and messed up Ashton hair... He spends to long on it anyway. He swatted my hand. whining "stop". "oh you poor baby" I mocked. He shoved me lightly "Stop Rav." he cleared his throat."Raven, um these lads are coming back to the house with us. To practice I said we could show them our covers." I nodded.
"Come on Ashton. I'll sit in the back of the van with your crap." He nodded.
We all loaded into the van. I secured his drums. When we finally arrived we all piled into the house. I was the first one to the fridge. We had nothing. No food whatsoever. I grabbed the phone and ordered pizza. I grabbed my guitar. After the pizza arrived we all pulled into my room. We couldn't practice in Ashton's room because his was on the second floor. Believe it or not its a real pain in the butt to bring those damn drums up the stairs. I had posters all over the walls. It included movies and bands like one direction, fall out boy. I also had taylor swift up on my wall.
We got his drums in and I tuned my guitar. The boys were sitting on my bed. I turned "what song?" He whispered back "I see fire." I nodded.
I started to strum the cords.
If this is to end in fire

As we finished they clapped! Then they huddled together. Luke turned and grinned
"Well, that was damn good. Raven, Ashton you to are in!" I looked at Ashton and balled my fist in front of me.
He got what I wanted and gave me a fist bump complete with exploding finger and sound effects.
"Ash you know what this calls for? A move marathon." I smirked as I held up the complete Star Wars films. Truly a night to remember. I made friends on my first day. I also managed to not be labeled as a dork my first day. what i didn't know is how quick it would fall apart
