I walked into school with my head down, even though I was in the band I still only had one friend that wasn't a part of the band, her name was Luna Martin. She was considered miss popular and I still don't understand why she became friends with me.
Lunas strawberry blonde hair is what caught my attention. I slowly walked over to her. She turned "Hey Raven, listen we need to go shopping later. Are you free?"
"Yeah I'm free."
"We will leave right after school, and we are driving in my car not your brothers. I will not be seen in public with that van" She then did the famous Martin strut down the hall.
Luna had a twin sister named Mave Martin. Mave was also pretty popular as well since she's a Martin.
I walked into bio with my head high siting in the front next to Luna. She was going to help me with this class since she was the smartest in the school. IQ of 187 with a 5.0 GPA. Yeah you could say she was smart.
After that class was over I went to go tell Ash that I was going with Luna after school.
"Hey Ash?" I spoke up disrupting the band from what ever conversation they were having.
"Im not coming home right away. I'm leaving straight after school to go with Luna to the mall."
"Ok thats fine."
When school was done I walked over to Luna's car and slid into the passenger seat.
She started the car up and we were off. When we arrived at the mall arrived I saw a banner at game stop it said HELP WANTED. So I told luna I would be right back. I ran into the store and flagged down an employee "Hi my name is Raven I was wondering if there are any spots open?"
"My names Kevin." The guy looked me up and down. "Why would a pretty girl like you want to work in a place like this"
"Because I love games why else, I didn't come in here for a fashion show." He gave me an application smirking as I filled it out. He grabbed a piece of paper and wrote his number down handing it to me. I put the number in my phone and then texted it so he would have mine. His phone vibrated in his pocket. "There now you have my number as well."
"I'll call you bout the interview as soon as the boss man comes back okay babe?"
"Of course, just not at 4 I have band practice, and I won't here my phone." I said turning around and doing the Martin walk out of the store.
As I walked back out I spotted Luna over in another store. After that we just walked around and after three hours 10 shops and 16 shopping bags later, we decided to head home. I quickly walked up my front stairs and into my room closing the door and I started putting away my new dresses. Yes I said dresses. In my defense they were cute and I wanted to change. Not fully just at school. I put away my new heels. Thats when the band came in.
"Raven where were you. You missed practice."
Without turning around I said "I told you I went shopping. I have other friends you know."
"Raven you can't miss practice. And who?"
"Well I just did and Luna Martin. I got new dresses." I say hanging up a new creme dress.
"Well don't miss again or your out of the band!" he said slightly raising his voice.
I was about to reply when my phone cut him off. saved by the bell I thought. It was Kevin from game stop.
"hey this is rave." the band looked at me questionably. "Right now? Do I need to bring anything? okay thanks Kevin" I hung up.
"Sorry I have to go to work"
"Raven, wait." Michael spoke "who's Kevin."
"Awww are you jealous? Cute... he's just a guy I met at work." I stated shrugging
I grabbed my bag, "I'll see you guys later. Ash I'm driving your van byeeee"
I quickly ran out and started the van. I'm nervous about this interview. But I know I will do great!
