Pretty Sh*t Band

Michaela sat there quietly sipping on her chocolate milkshake and reading her book. "Hey Red" Michaela looked up to find Malakai smiling out her. "Hey Malakai" "Enjoying your drink?' "Mmh, whatcha doin here?" 

"Just picking up a fed for me and my family" "I see" "Whatcha reading?" "Dune" "Oh I love that book" "Really?" "Yeah. Ah have you read the hobbit" "Of course!" Yeah Michaela totally forgot about her drink, she was too invested in talking to Malakai. 

Malakai sat across from her and they talked about different books, tv shows and movies until his order was ready and he had to leave. But needless to say they were practical texting all night. 

Malakai

Malakai: You going to Dustys gig tomorrow?

 Probably not:

Malakai: Aren't your friends going?

Yeah only cause she got asked to be there: 

Malakai: And what if I'm asking you to be there?

Then:

Yeah, I'd go:

Malakai: So

Malakai: Can you come to Dustys gig tomorrow?

Sure:

"So you're both nerds, congrats you're practical perfect for each other" Gem spoking, biting into her apple. "I can't believe you told him you'll go, I mean Spider's in the band and you basic hate each others guts" " I know Bex but this means I can hang out with him more. The only problem is how am I gonna get a slap band"

Michaela lip corner raised up into a smirk as she thought of an idea. "Bex, you know I love you so could you ask Ant-" "No way" "What why not?" "Why? because I like him and I'll feel like I'm using him. So no." "Fine, Gem could try and buy us two?" "Can't. Already got one"  

Gem lifted up her wrist presenting the red band around her arm. "How'd you get Spider to sell you one of those?" "I hooked up with Dusty remember, therefore I'm in Spiders graces" "Guess I'll have to sneak in. You two and you're men privileges. Disgusting" "Just cause you don't have one." "Shut up" 

"How you feeling about tonight Gem?" "Huh? what's happening tonight?" "Quinine and Sasha's date, remember" "Oh right" Of course Bex and Red knew about Gem's crush, they knew her too well. She couldn't hide it from them. 

Gem didn't want to think about the date , that's why she was actually looking forward to Dustys gig. Hoping it would take her mind off of Quinine, which is something she desperately wanted to do. 

The trio collectively got ready at Gem's house. Where Michaela and Rebecca had to ask Grace if she was fine. Although she said she was fine, it was quite obvious she wasn't especially after her heartfelt rendition of Shawn Mendes Treat You Better. 

Grace drove them to the party and her and Bex went straight in, they swiftly made it to the back and opened the gate letting both Red and Darren in. When Suddenly a loud splash in the pool.  Amerie had fell in after trying to sneak in. She clearly didn't see Darren's text. 

All of them stood in the bathroom fixing up Amerie and themselves. Bex was fixing her curls as she took out her box braids yesterday when she got home after her little yarn with Ant. Grace and Darren were both holing blow dyers to Amerie's dress and hair. Meanwhile Michaela was checking her makeup was on point. Which it was.
