Before Quinni knew it, she was dancing with the girl who always knew how to make her happy, up lift her, remind her how special she was. Grace.  Grace was always there for her, through everything, she never let her down.

Quinni was feeling like her happy excited self again because she wasn't thinking about the way Sasha was making her feel but the Grace was. Yes she still felt a bit shitty but the beautiful brunette was taking her mind off of that feeling piece by piece.

She wasn't drunk or high but it maybe it was the strobe lights that made Gems eyeshadow shimmer in a way it never has had before, her glowing skin, her hair bouncing as she swayed her hips to the music.

Quinni knew she loved Sasha but she was also starting to feel like there was something for Grace there too.

Malakai came over giggling playing with a beautiful necklace. He stood there staring at his girlfriend with a grin on his face. "Go to her!" "What?" "GO TO HER!" Bex yelled over the music. Malakai happily shook his head. He was happy watching her; being happy.

Malakai mumbled something that Bex couldn't hear him over the loud music, Malakai got the memo by seeing her confused face. Both still dancing, Malakai leaned down to Bex's ear so that she could hear. "She's so beautiful" Both smiled and giggled at each other as they pulled away.

However they duo didn't notice they had an audience watching their little interaction, expect the two insect boys didn't have the same context as the duo did and they stopped watching at the best part.

"Oh would you look at that little Malakai's stealing your girl" "They're just friends Spider" Ant retorted back at the blonde headed boy. "That looks like a lot more then friends too me, better watch your back mate" Spider said patting Ant on the back before turning away.

Spider had something against the whole friend group at this point. For one none of them put up with his shit and his childish behavior, they also won't hesitate to put him in his place if they needed to.

He didn't like that. He didn't like them.

He didn't particle like Bex and Gem because of their friendship will both Amerie and Red. He didn't like Red because he embarrassed himself in front of her as she didn't reciprocate his feelings and Malakai. Malakai didn't even have to try, without trying everyone fell for Malakai's natural charms.

He was smart, funny, talented, good at sports and an overall good person. Everyone wanted to be his friend or be with him. Including Red, Malakai practical swept her off her feet.

Making Spider jealous and insecure, so  of course he would say what his says.

Kai and Bex turned to smile at Red as she happily danced with Amerie. Bex looked back at Malakai, still smiling she pulled Kai to his girlfriend. She was so happy that her friends were happy and being appreciated.

Malakai was so giggly and happy dancing with Michaela, however Michaela knew his hyper active mood was defiantly the effect of the caps. Which was a factor but Malakai was also so happy with his girlfriend.

But not everyone was happy.

Ant clenched his jaw, his chill and playful demeanor had left, Spider words had poised his mind. He trusted he best friend but he also knew he was full of shit but yet again he never said anything to stop him. Ant felt conflicted, he didn't know how to feel. Anger? Jealousy?

Maybe he was just overthinking or did he cared too much about the girl he liked smiling at other guys. He had the feeling to pull someone; guy or girl and dance with him out of spite but he wouldn't do that. Would he? Would she?

But he didn't have much time to think about it as the next ballroom was up.

"Ladies and gentle-thems, welcome to the slay ball! If you're a baddie with a body beyond the binary, then make your way to the stage and show us what we wanna see. Next category: Virgin Vouge. Bring it in an all white. Dj, pump the beat."

As soon as the mc stepped off to the side, Darren came strutting on stage and the crowd went wild.  Darren did their thing and everyone was eating it up. The trio was screaming, that was one of the besties. Darren was slaying until they got cut, they got all tens from the judges expect for one cause they weren't wear white.

"You were absolute fire. Screw that judge." "What no, I just got cut from my first walk, this-this is the best night of my life" Happiness had filled the air for the group. Darren went to go find Cash. Quinni went to sit down with Amerie and Bex left Gem and Red to go find Ant.

"Hey" Bex smiled brightly at the boy but that smile quickly left her lips, picking up on the boys somewhat sour mood. "Hey you okay? You don't look like your having fun" "Yeah I'm fine" "Yeah why don't you go have fun with your new boyfriend Malakai" Spider said butting into the conversation. Bex eyebrows furrowed up into confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"We saw you and Malakai laughing and giggling together on the dance floor, real nice work there homie hoping" Spider continued. "Are you being serious?" The boys silence was a yes and Spider held a smug expression on his face and Bex wasn't having it.

"Wow way to go Sherlock, you've uncovered the truth. I must be sleeping with my best friends boyfriend Malakai because I smiled at him" The sarcasm in her voiced was apparated, "Are you both done acting like fools, I don't know what I feel worse about. You not trusting me or that I can't smile at a friend without you thinking I'm in love with them. Unbelieve"

Bex walked away even with Ant calling after her, she made him hilariously dumb for letting Spider get into is head to think that badly of her. Frankly as he should.

Ant wasn't the only one somewhat feeling low. Grace was lazily grazed up against a pillar watching Sasha and Quinni reconcile, she was happy that Quinni was happy but the more Quinni told her about Sasha and the amount of cracks in their relationship left a bitter taste in her mouth.

There was something off about Sasha's vibe that she couldn't get comfortable with alas there was nothing she could do other then be happier for her friend and make out with some else. However she drown her thoughts with her Cranberry Juice mix with Vodka and pulled Bex back onto the dance floor.

They both decided that no ones else shit was going to ruin their night out.

Michaela for one had never felt like this, unreal. This moment she was having with Malakai, having fun and being teenagers. She was happy and a little high. But she didn't care about the last part, she cared about the boy in front of her.

You know what they say time files when your having fun and it did. Soon everyone was walking out of the slay ball and onto the streets of Sydney. Hand in hand with Malakai, they were cracking jokes, taking their time. Red didn't want her time with Kai to end so quickly as she had plans with Gem and Bex to have a sleepover at hers as she had the house to herself.

But plans changed.

What happened next was indescribable, the only person that matter most was Malakai. Who had fled the scene with everyone chasing behind him.
