"Seth! You're here! I can't... I can't believe it.." he sounded so overjoyed when he said this. All I could do was look confused.

"Uuh.. Mr. Dringle, is Lizzie home?" I asked hoping she was.

"Well yes, why don't you come on in?" He opened the door wider and motioned his hand greetingly. I could hear the sobs of Daniell in the other room. My main concern wasn't for Lizzie or Daniell. It was about how her father wasn't freaking out about how I looked. I looked the same right.. right?

I sat down on the couch and he sat across from me. "So, back from the dead huh?" he asked with a slight chuckle.

"Pardon?" I asked him with my eyebrows raised in a sign of confusion.

"Back from the dead. You were gone boy. Now you're back. What is this, some kind of voodoo? Are you working black magic?"

"Uuuh.. no not that I know of. I just came back I guess. I woke up like any other day." I'm still worried about if I look like I remember I did or not. I have to see. "Mr. Dringle may I use your restroom?" I have to be overly polite when I'm near Mr. Dringle.

"Yes. You know you can just get up and go. We're all close here." I stood up and hurriedly walked to the bathroom. I closed the door behind me and I stared into the mirror. Normal. I'm completely normal. My eye is completely in my socket, my skin isn't stained with blood, and my skin is all in one piece. No charred marks or bruising anywhere. This is great!

When I walked into the living room and I saw Lizzie and Daniell sitting where I had been. I don't understand.. why could they all see me? I'm dead right? And dead means gone. Deceased. No longer living on Earth. I walked to them and waved hello. The first thing that happened was Lizzie burst into tears. I rushed over to her desperately trying to calm her down. But it made her cry harder. I stepped back and Daniell just looked at me with shock in her eyes. She stood up and hugged me. I honestly didn't know she cared that much. I guess everything changes when you're dead huh?

"Oh Seth we thought you were gone.. we thought you were gone forever." She said holding my face with her hands.

"I thought I was gone too!" I said with a smile and I chuckled. No one else seemed to find that funny but it was humorous to me. Lizzie stood up and walked over to me. She gave me a hug from behind.

"I missed you. I thought you were gone. Gone forever...." She whispered in my ear. I turned her around so I could see her face. Just as I left her. Beautiful. Her long brown hair was put up into a messy bun on top of her head, her gorgeous brown eyes seemed to have the slightest tint of wetness. She was wearing my hoodie I gave her. The one with the skull on the front. She was also wearing sweatpants, slippers, and her glasses. God I love it when she wears her glasses.

"I know. I did too. I'm so sorry Lizzie, I really am." But something wasn't right. She wasn't right. Her dad wasn't right and Daniell wasn't right. This was all wrong and I didn't know why. Not the fact the I was dead and they could see me but.... Well I don't know. It's not right. Nothing is right.
