Hrithik sat silently in the interrogation room, the officer was blabbering continuously, to which Hrithik didn't pay any attention. He kept his eye on the clock, the arrows going tick tock inside the wall clock. The right moment to hit his Plan B, an escape and the final plan and it was incomplete without Tiara in it.
Surrender was also a part of the plan, his men had already infiltrated the police unit, but before that he need to convince Tiara. He was tired of hearing Siddhanth Sinha yelling and threatening him, he has grown resistant to any kind of tactic a law enforcement officer does.
Tiara entered the room next to the interrogation room, her colleagues were watching Hrithik from the one way glass window. She folded her arms and glanced at Siddhanth, he slammed his arms on table, but Hrithik was still calm and silent, and suddenly Siddhanth grabbed Hrithik's collar. Tiara's shoulders tensed, she stormed inside the interrogation room.
Hrithik sneered and said, "I want to talk to HER!". His gaze swam onto hers, even though Tiara was infuriated.
"Hey, it's okay. I'll take it from here" She said to Siddhanth and then glared at Hrithik, how foolish she was to believe that he may have a redemption arc.
Siddhanth exchanged glances between Hrithik and Tiara, he leaned forward towards Tiara and whispered in her ears. "He won't easily give up, we have to break him, Literally."
She shook her head and patted on Siddhanth's back. "You did a good job, now, he is my responsibility."
Siddhanth nodded and exited the room. Tiara pulled the chair and sat down across the table, she put the key of the handcuffs on the table. Hrithik's eyed the key with caution.
She pressed the record button on the camcorder, opened the pen cap and statement file.
"You want to talk, TALK!" She commanded
He let out a light chuckle, a wicked smile curled up on his lips. "When did you realise that I was not the man who I was pretending to be?"
"I am the one asking the questions, not you. We are doing this, my way." She lifted one eyebrow.
"Right" He answered, he flexed his knuckles.
"When did you start killing your victims?" She asked ruthlessly
"It all started twenty five years ago, the 356 Airline Bombing. 3,000+ dead and 989 casualties, 457 survivors. The JSC Gray Corporation had a separate organisation called the Scarlet Python, its main aim was to keep profits and manage business but instead they were exploiting the black market and it became a terrorist organisation. The 26/11 attack on Hotel Taj was funded by Scarlet Python and all minor and major riots in the country were controlled and mobilised by them." He kept an cold and intense gaze at her. "My family was just a small piece among all the people they killed. My father left that business the moment he learned the truth, and then he got implicated by them, he paid the price for involving himself with those people, but my family also had to pay that price."
Tiara took a deep breath, how did no one knew about this. "How.." She cleared her throat, "How did you learn all about this?"
"I had my doubts, Nikhil Deshmukh visited my home often, threatening my dad. My dad didn't believe his lies because they were best friends and no friend would do what Nikhil Deshmukh did. In reality, Nikhil Deshmukh wanted the pen drive which contained evidence, evidence that could destroy Scarlet Python."
"Did he get it, the pen drive" She asked resolutely
He shook his head, pressed his lips, a faint smile tipped over his face. "My father was a mastermind, he took the secret to his grave, leaving trail of clues and evidence everywhere. No one from Scarlet Python has ever managed to find it, nor did I. It is just there...somewhere"
