On the last day of the promotion of their highest charting album SEGMENT:FRISSION, KaiA's center Kotone accidentally fell and twisted her ankle causing her to injure it. The members all seemed distracted as the girl struggled to keep up, but despite the visible pain, Kotone did not leave the stage and finished performing, gaining plenty amount of praises from the knetizens. The other members however, are being called out as uncaring and unprofessional for neither helping her when she couldn't dance nor performing well with professionalism.
Later that day, Kotone was seen to be taken to a hospital accompanied by their manager and few of the members.
Maris Entertainment released the news about her foot injury. The KaiA members haven't been active anywhere for the past few days after the incident.
