The sky was golden when the sun and moon met
and the world felt at peace for a minute.
As the moon, the king of the night sky, was ruling his kingdom of stars
Pair of empty eyes were observing himhow powerful and yet so beautiful and kind the moon was.
Kind enough to join the lost soul roaming around the world,
helping her find her way home
Helping her not to feel aloneIgniting the extinguished flame in her heart
Keeping her safe and warm
Walking around the stars
Not caring about the distance between them.It didn't matter
They wandered together through the darkness
but the endless night was finding it's end
sun was slowly waking up
the knew they didn't have much time leftfor souls, nights were long as hundred years for mortals
but days
days lasted eternityAnd the lost soul feared it
She didn't want the moon to leave her
After being alone for so long
Sun drank her flame, as it's morning tea
And before the moon could help her, she was almost frozenBut did it matter at all?
What mattered were the last minutes
Before the two rulers of the sky exchanged their lands
And moon went to sleep again
There was nothing that could help themAs the moon was leaving
The soul waved goodbye with a smile so bright the moon couldn't see her tears
And after the moon was behind horizonshe fell
She fell to her knees
She fell for the moonSun didn't even had to ask if it was worth it
It was, it was worth it
she found her homeThe moon, the king of the night sky- her home, her peace
The sky was golden when the sun and the moon met again
The sky was golden when the moon left,
leaving found soul to be lost again.-
