NOELLE walked into the dining room at Malfoy Manor. She sat at the table and sighed. Narcissa looked to her only daughter. "Noelle? Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine mother. Where are Draco and father?"

Narcissa smiled as she looked to her. "Your father has taken Draco into Diagon Alley. I thought you and I could go on our own. Mother daughter bonding," she told her.

Noelle nodded and sighed. She helped herself to some toast. She sighed. Narcissa knew her daughter. And she knew she didn't let people get too close.

Noelle had the nickname Slytherin Ice Princess. She never let anyone be her friend. But at the same time, everyone wanted to be her friend.

Noelle looked to her mother. "Is Draco packed for Hogwarts?" She asked.

"I'm unsure darling. I'm sure he is."

Noelle nodded and sighed. She wasn't looking forward to the upcoming school year.

Noelle stood on the platform with Draco. He looked to her. "You really are an ice queen aren't you?" He said.

"Yes. Yes I am. And what?" Noelle said as she walked onto the train.

She walked down the compartments. Stopping when she was bumped into. She looked to Hermione. Hermione sighed. "You could watch where you're going," she said.

Noelle looked to her. "Actually. I think you should watch where you're going. You bumped into me."

Hermione was about to speak when Ron walked over to them. "Is Malfoy scum giving you grief?" He asked.

Noelle raised her eyebrows. She smirked. "You're calling me scum? You're the one who's scum. You act like you're cool with Potter being the chosen one. When in reality you're a jealous little boy who will never amount to anything. You're the one who will be clinging onto Potter and his success," she told him.

Ron took out his wand. He went to curse Noelle when he was thrown against the wall. Hermione's eyes widened. "Y-You did wandless magic. That's advanced!"

"Get a grip Granger," Noelle said as she walked off.

Noelle walked down the hallway. She was annoyed and angry. She wasn't looking where she was walking. She bumped into someone and landed on her arse.

She looked up and frowned as she saw her defence against the dark arts professor; Remus Lupin

"Noelle. Are you okay?" He asked as he smiled to her.

Noelle looked up at him. She smiled slightly. "Sorry. Just one of those days," she said as he smiled sympathetically.

He knew Noelle was a Malfoy. But she wasn't like the rest of her family. She was closed off. And he heard that she was nicknamed the Slytherin ice queen. "It's okay. You look upset. Whatever it is that's upset you, I'm sure it's not worth it," he said.

Noelle looked to him. She smiled. "Thanks sir. Sorry Sir," she said.

Remus smiled. "There's no need to be sorry. No one got hurt," he said as he walked off.

Noelle found herself looking after him. Questioning, just what was so different to her about Remus Lupin?

Noelle walked into her dorm. She saw Pansy and Chloe Potter. Noelle sat down on her bed and sighed. Pansy soon rushed out of the dormitory.

Pansy and Noelle had words in the past. And Pansy seemed scared of her. "Are you okay?" Chloe asked.

Noelle smiled. "I...I guess so," Noelle said.

She had no idea just how everything was about to change because of a certain professor.
