Chapter 3
You're Joking. Right?

We walk almost half a mile to the forest.

     "Be careful guys," says stiles climbing up this hill. Scott follows after, then Allison.

     Stiles reaches out for Lydia's hand, she climbs up. I try to hide the disappointment on my face, for a second I thought he was reaching for me.

     Scott sticks his hand out infront of me, I smile. "Thanks," I saw lightly.

   "I see somebody," says Stiles as the flashlight shines at us.

     Allison steps on a twig by accident. Sheriff Stilinski looks in our direction Allison, Scott, and Lydia immediately duck behind trees. I freeze, Stiles unaware that we have been found turns around and snaps   "ALLISON ARE YOU KIDD-" he jumps. "Oh hey dad," he scratches his ear.

        Stiles turns around to see everyone gone, but me. "Uh, we were uh.."

        Stiles's dad gives him a look.

       "I swear we weren't, it's not what it-" he gets grabbed by the ear. I'm pulled along with them.

      "Come on Y/n I'll take you home."

       Stiles and I sit in the back, the middle seat empty, "Now I don't know what you two were doing, but-"

       "Dad, we weren't," interrupts stiles.

       "but." His dad says, "why in the woods just at least get some priv-"

       Stiles multiple attempts to shut him up ultimately fail, I sit there trying not to blush, I wished it were true.

     I get out of the car to scared to say anything in case I stutter. Lydia and Allison harass me at the door.

    "Y/n," says Allison. "In the woods Scott he..."

    "SCOTT WAS BITTEN BY A WEREWOLF," Lydia screams.

     "What? You're joking right, funny." I say blank face.

     "We're not," says Allison. "We we're running after you and Stiles got caught and Scott dropped his inhaler and he went to look for it and then there was a wolf. It was huge, we didn't see anything else. When we all rolled onto the road we saw Scott's bite, and.."

     "He's a werewolf now," says Lydia.

     "That's stuff of fiction."

     "Y/n Mikaelson," says Lydia. "I'm not kidding."

      I think it's a dream until I wake up the next morning back to reality.

   BACK AT SHERIFF STILINSKI'S WINDOW

I feel a strong nudge at my shoulder. Lydia looks at me almost pissed.

Stiles, Scott, and Sheriff Stilinski are already seated down in the office.

"Dad?" Says stiles. "Is everything okay."

"Yes, don't worry your not in trouble. I didn't want to say anything infront of y/n."

Lydia and Allison glance at me worriedly. I listen intently, nervous.

"I know she is one of your best friends and I thought it would be better if you two told her this."

"Go on," says Scott.
