So a couple of things before we get this show on the road:
1. If you haven't watched the BBC show, Peaky Blinders, just go watch it - you won't regret it (especially seasons 1-4).
2. Since I will be referencing aspects of the show throughout this story THERE WILL BE SPOILERS - proceed at your own risk.
3. This story mainly takes place in season four (it takes place in that one year between the family hanging scene and the start of the "Black Hand" letters). So, I definitely will be spoiling anything from season 4 and earlier.
4. I love Grace and Tommy's relationship. It was such a perfect love and she's my favorite love interest for him — HOWEVER I feel like there was so much more that could've been explored with May so I'm writing this to satisfy my own curiosity.
5. The prologue is WORD FOR WORD what was said in the last interaction between Tommy and May in the final episode of season two — I did this on purpose to provide background for the work.
