"What do you mean you aren't coming home?"

"I—my exams have been shifted to— they'll be held during our break," the younger answered and Jimin could tell his boyfriend was really upset.

Jimin would be lying if he said he wasn't upset too. He missed the younger and Christmas—having the younger around for Christmas made it even more special. Sneaking kisses under the mistletoe and decking up the halls with tinsels and holly leaves as they always did.

He gave a soft sigh. He needed to console the younger right then.

"Hey, baby. It's okay. We'll meet later then."

"I miss you and hyungs. I wanted to be home for Christmas. You know how much I love it. I just—" Jungkook cried, dejected.

Jimin's heart clenched when he heard a soft sob.

"Baby—" he tried.

"I need to go. Will talk later."

And with that, the younger disconnected.
