Chapter 10

|KOURTNEY POV|

When I woke up I saw August laying next to me snoring loud as hell. That was all a dream. Thank god because I couldn't live without my baby. I got in the shower, did my hygiene, and changed my clothes. I was downstairs making breakfast when August came down.

"Good morning baby." August said.
I just went over to him and hugged him tight and said "I love you August."

"Dang. What I do to deserve this? Are you cheating on me?" He said.

"No. I just had a nightmare that you died." I said crying. Man this baby has my moods going crazy.

"Awww baby don't cry. As long as you breathing I will be breathing with you. I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep Anthony." I said pulling away from him and flipping the bacon and flipping the eggs.

"Well I'll try as hard as I can. I'll stop smoking. I would give up my career for you. I love you."

"I love you more." I said.
There was a little silence before August said.

"Hey haven't you been bugging me all week to see Unfriended?"

"Yessss August can we pleaseeees go see it?"

"Yes get ready we going at 3."

"Okay. Can I go buy something. All of my clothes are getting to small because of this thing." I said rubbing my stomach.

"Yeah." He said pulling out his credit card.

"I'll be back by 1:30. Love you." I said looking at the clock which said 9:13.

"I'll love you forever." He said while kissing me. That was the first time he had ever said that. Weird.

|AT THE MALL|

I called Journey to help me shop. She seemed extra happy today. She is with Jacques now. He has been treating her wayyy better than Chris is my opinion. She said that I should get something comfy but cute. I ended up getting a long grey sweatshirt, a new Tom Ford purse, a new phone case, a new bra and underwear from Victoria's Secret, and my nails done. I know yall like how tf did I get all that. Well I got the shirt which is only $23.99. Then the Tom Ford purse was $1,870. The phone case was $15.13. The bra and underwear was $45.89. My nails was $55. So all that was only 2,010.01. I hope August won't be mad at me. I had to get that Tom Ford bag. It was saying my name over and over.

When I got home August was singing his new song in the shower. I laughed and got my clothes set out. I called journey and she didn't answer. Hmm. Strange. Maybe she was doing the nasty. After August got out the shower he was singing in my ear and putting his arms on my ass.

"Stop August I gotta get ready." I said smacking his hand.

"Okay okay I quit. Dang ma. So fiesty." He said smiling.

I did my hygiene and took a shower. I put on my clothes and did my makeup. August was downstairs watching a basketball game and eating some chips.

"Come on babe lets go." I said.

"Alright." He said.

Why is everyone acting so strange tonight? Usually August would have said wait 5 more minutes or something.

When we went into the theater it was a lot of people in line but I really wanted an ICEE and some nachos. August wouldn't buy it for me and I started pouring and stomping through the theater. I would use my own money if August and Chris weren't playing basketball with the toilet and my wallet was in the bathroom. Chris wasn't looking and threw it in the toilet before August caught it. My credit card was in there and the bank said that I could use it anymore. August finally picked me up (wedding style) and walked towards the showing the room. Then he put me down and I was smiling just because I loved him. When we walked into the room I started looking around and there were only 2 seats left in the middle of the row. The good spots. I wondered why they weren't sitting in that space. Then I started to notice all of the faces. My mom, August mom, my dad, Journey, Jacques, Chris, Lucas, Nicki Minaj, even my little sister Kadence. Everyone I knew and August knew was there. I started to wonder why they were here. When the trailers started rolling I whispered to Journey,

"Why are yall here? What is going on?"

"Shhh watch the trailers." She said with the biggest smile on her face.

All of the sudden I see pictures of me and August on the screen. Then I see my mom crying and then words spelled out on the screen saying: WILL YOU MARRY ME?

I looked at August who had a Tiffany box in his hand, a big ass ring inside, and August on one knee. I started crying with happiness I wanted to spend the rest of my life with August. I love this boy sooooo much. I would go to the moon and back for him. I would die for him. Then I say,

"Yes."
