I seriously need to get back into working. I wanted to buy the world for Kari. August said that he would take care of me and Kari but I wanted to help too. Journey called me and I missed it. I called her.

"Heyyy girl." Journey said loudly. I shushed her because she was on speaker and I was trying to put Kari to sleep.

"Oh sorry. What you doing at 3?" She said.

"Um nothing why?"

"Meet me at the park. And bring Kari."

"Can we make it 2:30? Gotta meet August at 4."

"Mkay. Love you."

"Love you too bye girl."

"Bye."

I wonder what she has to tell me. I put Kari in her cradle swing. I hopped in the shower, did my hygiene, and changed in to some black pants, black sweatshirt, a black scarf, and black shoes. I got Kari up and dressed her in all black so she could be mommy's twin. Then I put her in a polka dot jacket. I grabbed Kari's bag and made her a bottle. I ran out of the house and drove to the house. I saw Journey pacing up and down the park as I pulled up. I jumped out and picked up Kari and walked over to Journey.

"Hey girl what's up?" I said seeing her red eyes.

"Good news and bad news which one first?" She said with a tear sliding down her face.

"Um good."

"Okay. Um I'm pregnant. With a girl. 3 months to be exact. So right when Kari was born I found out I was pregnant."

"Omg I am so happy for you! Ima be an auntie." I said dancing and Journey doing a fake smile. Then I stopped. Something was really wrong.

"And the bad news is that my mom died." She said crying.

"Omg I am so sorry." I said putting Kari in her carrier right in front of me. Then I hugged her for what seemed like hours.

"You need anything? You just want me to stay with you and not go out with August? I was just going to the studio anyways."

"No no it's fine."

"Nope I'm staying. Already made up my mind." Then when we got at Journey's house she took off her makeup and I saw a black eye.

"Who tf did this to you?" I semi yelled.

"No one it's fine."

"Tf it's obviously not fine. Your freaking eye is swollen and black. Who did this to you Journey?"

"No on-" she said.

"Don't you dare tell me no one." I yelled.

"Jaques." She whispered and cried.

"WHAT?! OH HELL MOTHERFUCKING NAW. THIS NIGGA ABOUT TO GET FUCKED UP. LET HIM EVEN LOOK AT YOU AGAIN AND I WILL BEAT THAT BIGGA DOWN!" I said yelling and then I calmed down and texted August.

I stayed the night with journey. Luckily I had left some of Kari's clothes over here just in case. I could fit anything journey wore. We decided to get some iHop. She has the same cravings. Twinsies👭👯. So we went there for some food went to the mall and got a couple of things. Then I dropped Journey off at her house and made sure she was okay. (Author Note: Ok so I am just now realize that I didn't mention the Journey Vaughn thing. So Journey and Vaughn were engaged and pregnant but they got into a bad car crash. Journey is lucky to be still living. Much less walking. Vaughn died and the baby died. That left Journey so depressed and feeling like she can never find love again.) I wanted to go to the graveyard and visit Vaughn but I didn't feel le being depressed so I went over to my momma house. (Author's Note: Kadence still lives with her mom.) I walked in and Kadence was with her little boyfriend. I told her to not try nothing or I'm going to kill her and she know I'm not playing. Momma wasn't home. I asked Kadence to babysit Kari for a while. So while Kari was with Kadence, I was out looking for jobs. I got one job on the spot that I really like. It's a model. I was gonna be a model for Forever 21. Yass that's my store 🙌🏽👏🏽. Things were getting way better. I went out with August to celebrate. I started to think about Jordyn and Trey. I can't really be mad at them anymore because I basically did the same thing with August. But you know what I don't really give a fuck. They are out of my life and I am in my happy place now. I could not wait to be married to the boy that I keep falling in love with over and over.❤️💍💘🔥👰🏽.
