Door 49. Almost halfway.
Robert opened the door to find a room with a strange door. An eerie noise that sounded like a growl could be heard nearby.
The next door opened and a tall, bipedal creature emerged from the bookshelf. This monster had no eyes, meaning it could not see, meaning its other senses would be stronger. With a quick charge, the creature rushed at the doorway, preparing to slaughter its victims. But a lamp seemed to shatter as the strange creature turned.
They bent down, staying away as far as they could. Some books were glowing while others weren't. There were eight books in total. The books contained two pages each. One page would have a shape and the other would have a number. The monstrous creature pulled itself upstairs. They noticed a blue light coming from the desk.
A paper with shapes and numbers could be made out on the old paper. "Eight, six, four, nine, zero" Robert said. But as soon as he said this, The figure heard his voice. It sprinted at him and Robert crouched out of the way. The figure didn't know where he went, so he kept roaming around the library. Mary spotted a lock on the door. Robert inserted the code and the Figure growled angliciously, it couldn't catch its victims.
