#Graces POV

After Red had rescued me from those Covenant Elites, he'd never let me out of his sight.

Whenever he went hunting, he strapped me to his back with some vines, and brought me along. Whenever I need to bathe, he'd be right there in the water behind me, standing over me with his eyes locked on my body. And when I sleep, he's constantly watching me within the cave, while he'd be sitting at the entrance. I've never felt so frustrated at anyone ever, but his overwhelming protectiveness, is really just slowly killing me.

Stretching out in the early morning like usual, I look to the entrance of the cave, only to find the hulking red figure, slouched over asleep. With his wings in close, and his tresses hanging around his head, he was deep asleep, and even purring loudly as he 'snored'.

I smothered a laugh, before swiftly and silently, leaving the cave, to climb down the rocky cliff face. Having done this over a dozen times now, my feet fell perfectly in each foothold, but having to do this as quietly as I could, it took twice as long. I really didn't wish to wake the beast, and get into huge trouble. It'll be a rough morning if I did.

Coming to the dew covered grassy clearing at the bottom, I spared a quick glance up, before turning to leave upon the trail to the waterfall.

Walking through the forest at this time of morning, was now a great habit of mine. All the deer-like creatures, and miniature boar-like creatures of reds and blues, and ground dwelling birds of pinks and yellows, and blue and greens. It really is the best time of day for a relaxing stroll.

Continuing on the grassy trail, a group of the pink and blue deer creatures, came upon the trail a few metres ahead, and I stopped to watch them pass.

A fawn came prancing out of the bushes ahead of it's mother. The mother had those green spots under her eyes amongst the pink cheek fluff. The fawn being blue with pink and green spots much like the pattern of a regular deer. I waved at the large group, as they stared at me. I smiled and continued to waved as they continued on, and vanishing into the brush.

Shrugging, but still smiling, I continued on. The chirping and songs of the wildlife here is really beautiful. One of the many tunes in this jungle is very much like the 'Mary had a little lamb' tune, my mother used to sing to me. Smiling at the happy memory, I paused to just listen to it.

Closing my eyes, I let my body relax. Just standing in the middle of the trail, and listening to it gave me a sense of euphoria. But then it suddenly ended, and I felt an overwhelming surge of heat hit my back. Opening my eyes, I slowly turned around.

And there he stood. All 11ft of the massive red bastard, with his glaring red eyes. Frowning, I turned back around, and continued on my way. No way was I letting him ruin another of my habits by his stupid overprotectiveness!

As soon as I took my fourth step away from him, his hand grabbed at my arm, and pulled my back into his warmth. Screaming in frustration, I stomped on his foot, making him roar in pain. As soon as he let go of my arm, I broke into a sprint. Running at my maximum speed, I headed straight to the waterfall. A place we decided to make a 'no harm, no fights' area.

Hearing the loud stomping behind me, I knew full well he was giving chase so I wouldn't reach the safe zone. The adrenaline kicked in at that moment, and it pushed me further.

Breaking into the waterfalls clearing, I had felt the impact on my back, before my mind could wrap around what had happened.

Landing in a roll, the both of us came to a stop, with me pinned beneath the pissed off Frankenstein's monster. His massive hands were placed on the back of my shoulders and my ass. Realising this, I started screaming curse words at him.
