Miraculous

Chapter 2

"Spots on." Said Marinette said as she read the words.

Suddenly the earrings began to glow. Red light formed around Marinette's body. Then the light faded.

"Wh? What?!" Said Marinette.

Marinette looked in her mirror. She was now wearing a red skintight body suit with black spots all over it, and a red eye mask with black spots.

"I... I look like... a superhero." Said Marinette.

Marinette backed away from the mirror. She saw a string wrapped around her waist. On the end of the string was something that looked like a red yoyo with black spots. Marinette pulled the yoyo off of her waist.

"A yoyo?" Said Marinette.

Marinette started to play with the yoyo. As the yoyo went down it glowed red with energy. Suddenly the yoyo spun around and created a red energy shield between where it spun and Marinette's hand. Marinette stopped and the yoyo spun around her waist again.

"This... This is insane!" Said Marinette.

Agreste mansion.

"This is awesome!" Said Adrien.

Adrien was wearing a black body suit with a belt that dangled behind him like a tail. He was also wearing a black eye mask and black cat ears in his hair.

"I look like a superhero!" Said Adrien.

Adrien saw a metal rod attached to his belt. He pulled it off and pushed a button on it. The rod grew into a metal staff.

"Awesome!" Said Adrien.

Adrien thought for a moment.

"If I have this cool suit, and this cool staff, then I could be a real superhero!" Said Adrien.

Adrien knew his parents and Nathalie wouldn't be checking on him because he was supposed to be in bed. Adrien opened a window and crawled out of it.

"Alright criminals of Paris. Get ready!" Said Adrien.

Adrien jumped into the night.

Dupain-Cheng bakery.

Marinette was freaking out. She wasn't a superhero, she was a baker girl who dreamed of fashion design.

"This can't be happening! How am I a superhero?!" Said Marinette.

Marinette thought about this for a good minute. She had no training, but she always tried to help people. She had no powers, but she had that yoyo. She was just a teenager, but so were the Galactic Titans.

"Screw it." Said Marinette.

Marinette decided to try this. If this so-called Miraculous chose her of all people, there must be a reason. Marinette opened her window.

"Here goes nothing." Said Marinette.

Marinette pulled out her yoyo. She spun the yoyo and tossed it toward a nearby building. The string extended and the yoyo attached to the building. Marinette jumped and swung herself over the street.

"Holy crap!" Screamed Marinette.

Marinette spun flew through the air and landed on top of a building a few blocks away from the bakery.

"Alright. Breath, Marinette. Breath." Said Marinette.

Marinette started running on the rooftops and jumped over the gaps. She stopped when she heard something in an alley she had jumped over. Marinette turned around and looked into the alley. It looked like some kind of illegal meeting.
